Review: Phone NO. in Northeast times is: [redacted]. Had a small Japanese maple tree (3 feet tall) removed. Man came Sat. May 18 to look and would give estimate next day. Came Sun. May 19 to remove it - charged $150.00 . That was fine. Said we needed more dirt, would we like to have him bring it tomorrow (MON).Asked how much? He's said $50.00. I said Way too much! He said $40.00. Still too much. He then said $30.00. Since I am 70 and my husband, who was also there and wheel chair-bound. incapable of gardening chores, I said okay. He said I need the money up front, which I paid him. He was supposed to come the next day, never showed. I called late afternoon, and he said he would come Wednesday. Wednesday came he didn't show again and when I called, he said I promise on Thursday. Thursday came and he promised again on Friday. Still didn't show. I called Saturday morning and he said he would be there today. Never showed. Made many phone calls, and on the last call, he claimed he had a hard time finding a [redacted] where he was. He could have come to my neighborhood, where I am near [redacted], etc. (A landscaper doesn't know where to buy dirt??)I finally on Sunday got a neighbor to go buy dirt for me, which cost only $1.50 a bag and I distributed the dirt myself. I just think it is unfair for this man to be working for a company and doing his own thing taking advantage of older people. I don't know whether this company is aware of such an employee, but this man is not a good advertisment for their store. I hope no one ever calls this man up and gets taken like we feel we did. I only hope I have helped others.Desired Settlement: My money back. Store notified of their employee.

Review: We rent a home that is serviced by M and M landscaping. They are paid by the property management company--however, we are responsible for the up keep of the house and lawn. We have on several (at least 3 or 4) occasions told the company NOT to prune our shrubs and bushes, not to mulch our yard, and not to put chemicals on our yard. We do the pruning, mulching and organic pesticides ourselves. WE have verbally spoken with them, we have exchanged emails with them. They have it in their notes NOT to do these tasks. Yet, we still come home to our shrubs being pruned, and mulch being placed in our garden beds, and sometimes chemicals being used. The reason we had them stop pruning is b/c they consistently prune at the wrong time. Preventing our shrubs from flowering. When they were tending our garden we came home once to a garden of weed wacked perennials! that is NOT how one gardens. The mulch situation has been the final straw. If we are not at home to run out and stop them from mulching they dump mounds of bad mulch (filled with fungus) on top of our plants- damaging the ones that are in bloom and leaving a rotting environment for more fungus to grow. Not only is the mulch poorly and inappropriately applied! but we have 2 family members who are very allergic to the type of mulch that is used. I can not go outside when this mulch is used without a moderately severe allergic reaction- tongue selling, eyes watering and swelling, sneezing and red itchy skin! We have called and emailed the company! If they are a landscaping company it seems they should want to help our landscape. WE aren't asking them to do anything extra...they have less work!Desired Settlement: We have tried to remove much of the "bad mulch" from the garden beds ourselves because we do not trust them to do so without damaging our perennials which we have spend hundreds of dollars on! We would like them to come and remove the rest of the mulch- remove the mulch from the yard-- and give us a check so we can buy the mulch we usually use and replace it ourselves.
