On or about March, 2014, MM Property Management & Remodeling, LLC (hereinafter “MMPMR”) was contracted to remodel a sunroom at the home of our client. Subsequently, MMPMR contracted KC Master Companies (hereinafter “KC Masters”) to complete the foundation work
at the same. And, as noted in the complaint, additional expenses were incurred as a result of an error in the soil depth calculation made by KC Masters Consequently, this caused the homeowner to scale back his project scope with MMPMR. The contractual relationship was and is between KC Masters and MMPMRThere was never a contractual relationship between our client and KC Masters. MMPMR is scheduled to have this matter full resolved with KC Masters on or before 2/28/2015, at which point, it is expected that KC Masters will cease to involve and harass our client. It should further be noted that at no point has MMPMR attempted to involve our client in this dispute nor has it attempted to assign its obligations with KC Masters to our client. In fact, MMPMR has been forthright with our client, reassuring them that they have no obligation in this matter. We are amenable to providing the client with verification that this matter has been settled, between MMPMR and KC Masters when that occurs at the end of February
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I will be awaiting their response regarding cloture on this problem.
