MNS Plumbing & Drain Cleaning Reviews (12)

The customer sent me an email. I sent this in response.  This is not truly an issue with MNS Plumbing but with [redacted] Home Warranty.  I cannot control what her home warranty company does.  I don't know what else I can do.  I can't refund money that she never paid to us...

and as you can see below I have already given her an apology.  Her response to my apology was to tell me she was putting in a complaint with the Revdex.com. I can forward that email to you if need be.  We never charged her anything as we don't service water heaters through [redacted].

I actually didn't tell them that I don't service water heaters that big.  We absolutely do but we are not contracted with [redacted] to provide water heaters because of the way their contract works.  They do not allow us to go to our supplier and pick up the heaters so that we can provide fast service.  They require us to use their water heaters and place them at will call which means that the customer is not serviced for several hours.  It is not that we don't do water heaters...we don't do them for [redacted].  I most certainly did take their call as well as faxing them the work order # to make sure that you were reassigned quickly. I have the fax confirmation if you would like me to send you a copy.  [redacted] assured me that they would call you. I shouldn't have trusted that and called you back myself.  I apologize that this was a bad experience for you.  That was certainly not my intention.  I would have told you from the beginning but I wasn't sure if they had changed something and that was why they were sending me a water heater work order.  They did not tell me in their initial call that it was a water heater that they needed serviced as an emergency.  You were the first to tell me. They just asked if I could service an emergency call by5pm.  I assumed that it was an issue that we service for [redacted]. I should not have.  Again, I apologize that this was a bad experience for you.  It is sometimes hard to work with the home warranty companies as I don't always know what communication has transpired between the customer and the home warranty company.  I completely understand your frustration and again apologize for my part in causing it.

Thank you very much for emailing. I appreciate it and will make adjustments to how I handle home warranty calls in the future.

Excellent, pleasant service provider. We plan to call MNS for all our plumbing needs.

Had great and prompt service from MNS Plumbing! Very efficient and service with a smile! Recommend to all!

Excellent service, Technician Mark was prompt, courteous and got the job done with NO leaks

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

No further action. Their response is not entirely accurate. [redacted] handles all their vendors the same-the new company that came out had to go to will call and pick up a water heater for us-they could not use their own supplier. That is how [redacted] works their home warranty. You did answer their first call, but then they tried to call you back and they received no response. You are contracted with [redacted] to repair or replace hot water heaters, you chose not to and left me hanging for two days.

Excellent company, very high quality work and immediate response when I needed work done

Review: MNS Plumbing/[redacted],

I spoke with you late yesterday about a service order from my home warranty company to come out and repair/replace a leaking water heater. My home warranty company contacted you because this was an emergency and you stated that you could be at my property by 5pm. At 5:30pm I contacted you and you stated that you did not receive a work order from [redacted]. I told you I had the work order and provided that to you. You then stated you needed an email but would call the home warranty company. During this call you asked me specific questions about the type of water heater that I had. (electric/gas, size, make/model, warranty). You told me you would call in the morning after the technicians 8:30am service call. I called you at 8:30am, 9:30am and left messages in which no one returned my call. I then called again at 10:45am (from a different phone line in which you answered the phone) I spoke with you and you said give me 15 minutes and I will call you back. After 45 minutes I called my Home Warranty company where they put me on hold and contacted you. You told them you did not service water heaters that big. I told the home warranty company it was not 80 gallons but 65 gallons so they called you back for service and then you stated that you do not work on water heaters at all. I had to call my home warranty company back and before they could find me a new contractor they tried to reach you because all of their paperwork on file states that you do indeed service hot water heaters, not surprising you would not take their call or call them back. This is mind boggling, you did not have the common courtesy of calling me back, telling me that from the beginning? No, you didn't because you do service them and just did not want to take this job. The real disappointment is that you couldn't even tell me that, return a phone call so I could make other arrangements. I now am going on 2 days of no water and flooding. This is egregious and hardly how a company should be run.Desired Settlement: An apology and refund of $65.00 service fee I paid to other contractor for service call after waiting 2 days before someone could get out to my home because of your actions.
