I am rejecting this response because: The Trail Blazer was towed to Blue Lube 6/25/2016, Just because you are the only mechanic in town doesn't mean you can bully people! Answers to the points: 1) The Parts Were Exact Parts NAPA Which is where Blue Lube buys the majority of their Parts(The Whole Part (Differential assembly) Just bolts to the oil pan)See attachment orange line2) DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLY The Whole Part bolts to the OIL PANNOT separate JOBS, one in the sameMay be if Blue Lube did not take the time to sabotage the vehicle while supposed fixing the Differential issues we would not be hereWhy Loose Bolts under the passenger side of the car at the BELL HOUSING of transmission? Also, The break pad assembly was not attached nor the wheels aligned when I first drove off after payment 7/27/Differential bolts were all changed from Original Factory Bolts as well3) The NAPA Differential Part, ordered 7/8/was Delivered to Blue Lube by 7/14/2016, same part they wanted to get except wouldn’t have the NAPA Name or warrantyDIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLY WHOLE PARTWhen asked if they needed any fluids I was told “NO” by mechanicsGosh almost a month by now! 4) “The Oil Pan” Was The Only Communication 7/22/Where the Original Pictures show the Bell Housing to the Transmission Bolts were actually where they should be, Tight! Yes, I did give the go ahead for “Oil Pan” part as I might have done for Rack and Pinion if given the chance5) This was Part of the conversation (SEE- 4) “The Oil Pan”) about Charge of TimeThe other part of “time” take was that they would possibly charge hours for the Differential & Hours for “The Oil Pan” laborWas NOT Charged as I was Communicated via Phone6) I do appreciate the “Discount” of the Oil Change, for the 3rd time THANK YOU & for not putting old oil back in my car7/28/I did not get any fluids for the Faulty Part “SEAL” (Blue Lube Replaced) in Power Steering Line nor Transmission fluid for the LOOSENED BELL HOUSING on the TRANSMISSION on the other side of the vehicleNOPE NONE OFFERED which caused Damage since I had a witness drive me there The Morning of 8/2/16, and there was no fluid since it had all leaked on drive at Blue Lube7) I got no Communication on the “Rack and Pinion” seal needing replacement 8/2/Mechanic crawled under vehicle and didn’t even notice the Bell Housing Bolts to The TransmissionBut this was after the “Job” was doneThe Mechanic said while under the vehicle “I was called and I denied service due to expense”That is just stupid! Major part “Oil Pan” Okayed due to a crack and the other Major Repair “Rack and Pinion” denied??? When I had not heard of it until 8/2/I was not given an opportunity to deny the serviceThis is also# 8) 8) I did not know to “Top It Off” and Do have a witness who heard none of this kind of warningThis is the Bullying PartThe Leak did not happen until 8/2/with the Power steering, only miles of having vehicle back, days

We utilize Alldata as our industry standard labor guide This protects both the customer and us when jobs do not go as anticipated The customer provided their own parts for the differential, so we had NO markup or margin on those parts Also, we do not provide any
warranty in the situation where customer supplied parts are used The attached image of the Differential labor shows a base rate of hours plus several add on items that brought it to hours This would be the rate to replace it with a new unit The customer provided us with a used unit, so we also had inspection time that we had to eat The customer told us up front that she was providing all the parts, but did not provide any of the fluids, and when the leaking power steering system was discovered, she did not wish to provide those parts (which we included the install time for our quoted hours) Again, we ate the extra time Upon disassembly, it was discovered that her differential had actually done damage to the lower portion of the engine oil pan, causing a crack We had to notify her of that and source a re-manufactured oil pan This was not part of the original estimate because the damage was not visible until the vehicle was disassembled See the attached image regarding the standard time and price of parts on the oil pan replacement We would have normally charged a customer $for the parts and labor We did discount it to hours and were able to save her money on the part cost as well Her cost (which she was notified of and agreed to pay) was $ Due to the oil pan having to be replaced, we also had to perform an oil change which was an additional $ This is again standard practice in the auto repair industry (never put used oil back into an engine) The customer was communicated with all along the way, and agreed to and understood what was required We also notified her prior to picking up the vehicle that the power steering rack was leaking and would need rebuilt or replaced She declined that and decided to drive the vehicle and "keep it topped off" until she had additional funds to fix the steering

I am rejecting this response because: The Trail Blazer was towed to Blue Lube 6/25/2016, Just because you are the only mechanic in town doesn't mean you can bully people! Answers to the 8 points: 1)      The Parts Were Exact Parts NAPA Which is where Blue Lube buys the majority of their Parts. (The Whole Part (Differential assembly) Just bolts to the oil pan). See attachment orange line. 2)      DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLY The Whole Part bolts to the OIL PAN. NOT 2 separate JOBS, one in the same. May be if Blue Lube did not take the time to sabotage the vehicle while supposed fixing the Differential issues we would not be here. Why Loose Bolts under the passenger side of the car at the BELL HOUSING of transmission? Also, The break pad assembly was not attached nor the wheels aligned when I first drove off after payment 7/27/16. Differential bolts were all changed from Original Factory Bolts as well. 3)      The NAPA Differential Part, ordered 7/8/16 was Delivered to Blue Lube by 7/14/2016, same part they wanted to get except wouldn’t have the NAPA Name or warranty. DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLY WHOLE PART. When asked if they needed any fluids I was told “NO” by mechanics. Gosh almost a month by now! 4)      “The Oil Pan” Was The Only Communication 7/22/16 Where the Original Pictures show the Bell Housing to the Transmission Bolts were actually where they should be, Tight! Yes, I did give the go ahead for “Oil Pan” part as I might have done for Rack and Pinion if given the chance. 5)      This was Part of the conversation (SEE- 4) “The Oil Pan”) about Charge of Time. The other part of “time” take was that they would possibly charge 6 hours for the Differential & 5 Hours for “The Oil Pan” labor. Was NOT Charged as I was Communicated via Phone. 6)      I do appreciate the “Discount” of the Oil Change, for the 3rd time THANK YOU & for not putting old oil back in my car. 7/28/16 I did not get any fluids for the Faulty Part “SEAL” (Blue Lube Replaced) in Power Steering Line nor Transmission fluid for the LOOSENED BELL HOUSING on the TRANSMISSION on the other side of the vehicle. NOPE NONE OFFERED which caused Damage since I had a witness drive me there The Morning of 8/2/16, and there was no fluid since it had all leaked on drive at Blue Lube. 7)      I got no Communication on the “Rack and Pinion” seal needing replacement 8/2/16 Mechanic crawled under vehicle and didn’t even notice the Bell Housing Bolts to The Transmission. But this was after the “Job” was done. The Mechanic said while under the vehicle “I was called and I denied service due to expense”. That is just stupid! Major part “Oil Pan” Okayed due to a crack and the other Major Repair “Rack and Pinion” denied??? When I had not heard of it until 8/2/16. I was not given an opportunity to deny the service. This is also# 8) 8)      I did not know to “Top It Off” and Do have a witness who heard none of this kind of warning. This is the Bullying Part. The Leak did not happen until 8/2/16 with the Power steering, only 28.5 miles of having vehicle back, 5 days.
