Mo' Muscle Cars Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.

I am responding to the message sent by [redacted] of MO Muscle Cars.  Most of the things he put in the email are false.  In my original complaint I said that we talked about him trying to fix the problem with new spindles but he also said that if it didn't work that I would need to buy new wheels and tires.  As far as the original spindles go, I never sent him anything saying that I had the spindles in my trunk.  The amount that I disputed is 2500.00 not over 7000.00.  I recently contact him asking  when he planned to try the new spindles and his response was that since I filed with the Revdex.com and disputed the charge of 2500.00 he was unable to do anything until he sees what the outcome will be.  He says that he tried to resolve this in good faith but I've talked to him through email and by phone and I don't think he ever planned to fix the problem.  That's why I filed the complaint.  I have no problem paying for what I get but he admitted that he knew it was rubbing.  He said that he was the one who drove it from the alignment shop.  This was a phone conversation so of course he will probably deny that he said it.  I have several emails to [redacted] and his shop foreman [redacted] asking about the original spindles and the repairs.  I also have an email from [redacted] yesterday telling me that I can't have all the emails because some were sent via his website.  I'm assuming he has it that way so people won't have record of the emails sent to them.  I have nothing to gain from this but a car that operates properly.  I'm really cautious about bringing my car back to them after the events that have taken place.  His attitude towards me and his comments to you all are not the same.
Thanks,
[redacted]

Tahoma, sans-serif;"> I am responding to a complaint by [redacted] (#[redacted]). Please see the attached evidence that contradict the complainant’s statements. My attachments include email correspondence from [redacted] of him admitting he found the spindles in his trunk as well as our service agreement (signed by [redacted]) which lays out our service and warranty terms. I have tried in good faith to resolve this issue, even though we have no obligation under our contract as we have done nothing wrong. Everything seemed to be going well with the good faith resolution until [redacted] sent an email demanding we return his old spindles when an earlier email by him confirmed that he had found the old spindles in his trunk. When I asked him about the discrepancy, we claimed he never said the earlier statement noted in his previous email (please see email dated April 27). When I said he did say they were in the trunk, he denied the credit card charge of approximately $7200 and then filed a complaint with the Revdex.com with the intent of committing fraud. Unfortunately, his actions have changed how we are going to deal with this matter and we will continue to stick to the terms of our service agreement. [redacted] was made aware of the unforeseen issue of the front tires rubbing after the disc brake install, but [redacted] decided anyway to pick up the car and drive it to his home in [redacted] with the intent of installing new wheels and tires.  He could have easily turned around and dropped it right back off if there were an issue. After he made the long drive home, he contacted us by email and asked what size wheels would work and that it was not acceptable that the tires were rubbing. In this email he confirmed his intention to get new wheels and tires (See email dated 4/25/15). He also has sent an email to me through our website contact form which is attached on 3/18/2015 saying "Once you all get the brake kit, I can purchase some wheels and tires from [redacted] if the offset is not the same." Mo’ Muscle Cars is only obligated to perform services specifically requested by the customer and as mentioned on section 2 of our service agreement and this email confirms [redacted] attention to get new wheels and tires if needed.  Mo’ Muscle Cars expressly waives responsibility for the cost of any unforeseen issues as noted in the attached service agreement signed by [redacted]. We also expressly waive any claim to a quote as we bill on an hourly basis and the amount of time needed to perform the work and unforeseen issues can greatly affect the final price. [redacted] claims in his statement that the final price jumped around a lot but it was agreed in writing that no estimate is reliable. If you need any have any questions or need any clarification or any other evidence, please let me know by email or phone at [redacted] and I will send in a manner acceptable to you. I am eager for this matter to be resolved and I look forward hearing back from your with your findings. [redacted]Mo' Muscle Cars[redacted] - Office
