Review: We developed a sewer smell in our finished basement bathroom. Despite attempting all known remedies, the smell persisted and I contacted my home warranty company who contacted Moad Services to assess and fix the problem. On the day of service, they were 2 hours late (due to vehicle "issues"). The plumber was here for 20 minutes. He turned the water on in the basement shower&sink and flushed the toilet. He recommended the shower drain be scoped with a camera that he, nor his company, possess; hence a service they do not provide. He advised that we do not use the basement at all due to the health hazards of the sewer gases. He never inspected any of the vent systems to see if they were clogged even though we requested him to do this.
Moad Services then refused to answer our calls or return our voice mails regarding coming back to do a more thorough assessment. We gave them a $100 check, which is the deductible agreement with the Home Warranty. This fee got us 20 minutes, with no real answers or solutions.Desired Settlement: They need to return and due a thorough analysis and assessment.
