With the recent influence from the dreaded Polar Vortex that has left Southern Alberta in the grips of a Sub Arctic tundra I realized that I need to increase the insulation in my atticTo compound my problem the [redacted] in Alberta has left us with a Carbon Tax that will surely effect my households bottom lineI inquired with a friend who had nothing but fantastic things to say about Ideal InsulationI looked into getting an assessment on my existing insulation and to see if there was anything that I could do to enhance itThe gentleman that came to my house was just that, a gentleman, very courteous and politeafter my assessment he informed my that my house attic was equipped with Rin 90% and Rin the RestI was offer a quote to bring the Rup to just and one to bring the whole works up to RI am extremely glad that I chose to bring the total value up to Ras that is now Code and house is noticeably more comfortable The Service of the office staff and the guys that showed up to do the work was above my expectations with so many companies out there that you just don't know who to trust, I would recommend Ideal Insulation to Anyone looking to enhance there Insulation!!
(Ideal Insulation spray foamed our ceiling, and sprayed "Spyder" Insulation in all exterior walls and then installed vapour barrier throughout the house.)

I looked through a few insulation companies and found that IDEAL had the most positive reviewsI called them and Bailey *** was polite and friendly in helping me book the appointment to have Steve come to my place and inspect the attic
Steve was also friendly and very thorough in letting me know how much insulation was required and how the insulation would be spread throughout the attic
The three gentlemen that did the insulation [David, Rick and Chris] were also friendly and efficient They did a great job of cleaning up after they were done and having the drop clothes was much appreciated
New roofing products, as well as soffit/facia/eaves were installed at my home
The roofing crew was hard-working and courteous, getting the job done quickly while working safely around my home and young family
Via Ideal, Chinook Exteriors replaced the old wood soffit/facia on our home with custom metal, Jean-Francois is a talent in his field and his attention to detail is appreciated
Ideal added additional insulation to our attic. We were impressed with the professionalism of all their people. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. We look forward to reduced heating costs this winter and additional savings when the Carbon Tax kicks in.
I needed some insulation blown into the corner of my attic over the garage where apparently condensation had collected and caused spots on the garage ceiling. I was able to make a quick appointment. The two men came on time, took a lot and knew what needed to be done. At the actual repair appointment they showed up on time, explained everything, even added more insulation where they thought it was thin. They cleaned up well after them and were courteous throughout. The price was fair and justified.
