I took my iPad mini in to have an LED screen repairAfter I picked it up, it had issues staying on and won't chargeThis was not a problem before On Wednesday, March I took my iPad mini in to Mobile Depot to have it repaired for an issue with the LEDThe screen showed a wide black stripe across it and the shop agreed to replace it for $including GSTOther than the LED screen stripe, the device was in perfect working order and has never been dropped or had any damageWhen I picked up my iPad on Saturday, April 1, the clerk initially had trouble turning it on, then plugged it into a power source and it fired upAs it looked perfect and showed the battery at 71%, and after swiping through it and checking it out, I decided the repair was successful and paid the bill However after a few hours of use, the screen suddenly went black without warningI tried to turn it back on, but only got the Apple logo and then it blinked off againI plugged it into a power source and t

A laptop was purchased on Dec26/
Only months ago and I have notices on my screen that indicate the "Windows CD Key requires to be updated"I was never given a CD for Windows nor any CD Key #(Every user of Windows Software must have their own registered copy)
I phoned the store "Mobile Depot" of
***, *** - *** Avenue SE Calgary, AB *** *** and inquired to require assistance to obtain the number for WindowsThe Techasked me to look for a sticker on the bottom of the laptop to find itThere was no such stickerThe Techthen said I will have to bring it in to get the CD KeyI drove directly to Mobile Depot and the person behind the counter admitted that he was the person I spoke to earlierHe asked for my receipt for verification of purchase and I replied "You didn't mention I was required to bring a receipt! Unethical business practices! Dropped a laptop off for a "free" estimate, was called and told it might be a motherboardWe asked for an estimate to repairThey call a couple of days later and said it would be $***, being three years old I told them not to fix it but they had already done the workThey acknowledged they failed to provide a quote but insisted this was a great priceWe were never given the option to decide, they were then trying suggest that they would buy it from us for $***....or they could wreck the laptop and give it back to us, this was shortly before the manager stated I could get $*** for it on ***We paid $*** and took the laptopVery unsatisfactory resolution that could have easily been avoided with good communication and owning your mistakes
Be very careful if you decide to use this location, they are very misleading and even when they admit they are wrong are rude and aggressive in dealing with customers Get a quote in writing everytime!!

My son and I bought a reconditioned iPhone 5S from the Mobile Depot on 130th Ave SE Calgary for $inc taxesThe battery would not hold a charge, so we returned it the following dayThey did not have another phone and would not refund our moneyThe sales assistant pointed to a very small sign, away from where we did the transaction the day before, which read "No refunds"The assistant who sold us the phone, did not mention this policyThey have given us a credit, but they only sell reconditioned electronics and provide services, neither of which we would ever useI notice they still have an iPhone 5S advertised on their websiteI wonder if any other people have had similar experiences

I would like to file a complaint against a company called Mobile Depot located at 5222, 130th Ave SE Calgary, AB
I purchase an unlocked Smartphone for $from them in Oct and by Jan the phone was bricked remotely leaving it inoperable to me
I contacted the company Manager named Mr*** *** and asked them to cover it under the month warranty stated on the purchase receiptHe refused and informed me they would not do anything about the matter, and if I did not like their answer then I was free to take up legal action on them
I currently have no phone, as they have currently kept it in their possession and nor do I want it back due to it being useless in the current state, or was not refunded the original $for the phone
