I as the President of Bontrager Pools would have preferred that I was contacted personally by the client before
submitted to the Revdex.comHe has been in contact with my technician that installed the cover material and maybe the service manager but this letter is the first time I knew of a problemI looked at the cover personally on Friday the 17th which was the first chance I had after receiving this on the 14thI talked with the service tech who installed the cover material initially and we came up with a way along with the manufacturer on how to fix the main issue with the cover

We have contacted the cover manufacture and will upgrade the cover lead edge bar so that it will keep it spaced between the concrete coping so it doesn't rubIt appears to me the material is not too large for the pool but does tend to track to the one side of the pool edgeWhen we install the glides in the lead edge bar it will keep the bar aligned more in the middle of the pool and will keep it from tracking to one sideAs autocovers have gained popularity so has experience with how things function on them and when a cover is larger than a 20' x 40' pool we would recommend having the second cover pump to help keep the water removed when it rainsWe include on new pool installs when they are this large, will one pump eventually take care of the water yes but the rains we had this year have made it that a second pump was a must
The air pockets under the cover are being caused by an air leak in something on the suction side of the pumpThis causes air to be brought into the pump and eventually ends up in the pool through the return lines going back to the poolThis air is blown into the water and then floats to the surface which becomes an air pocket under the cover and will continue to build until the cover is opened or it can escape some other wayWhen this happens the rain water will puddle in areas that are easiest for it to get to and it may not be where the cover pump is sitting
