Complaint[redacted]/mobile marine east coast svc was hired & paid to winterize my boat and failed to properly do so. As a result the engine needs replacementIn [redacted] 2013 [redacted] of mobile marine east coast svc was hired and paid to winterize my 2001 [redacted] inboard/outboard boat. As a result of improperly winterizing my boat the engine froze over the winter and now needs to be replaced/rebuilt. After several attempts to contact [redacted] he eventually returned my call. [redacted] scheduled a time to come look at the boat but did not show up. Eventually he did come out to look at the boat and took pictures. He stated that he had been in contact with his insurance company and was in the process of filing a claim. After [redacted] came to look at the boat I never head from him again. I made several attempts to contact him on his cell phone as well as his business phone. I left messages that we're never returned.Desired SettlementI would like the engine of my boat replaced/rebuilt. As well as any other parts (and labor) that were affected as a result of the damage. I was unable to use my boat during the summer of 2014 and the boat is still parked in my driveway. The boat only has approx 60 hours of use on it currently. It has always been well maintained and now it is worthless. I would like [redacted] to stand by his work and settle this matter before the boat sits for the winter and possibly ends up with further damage as a result.

On Aug 29, 2013 my boat, motor and trailer was picked up by [redacted] I paid a deposit of [redacted] for the repairs. The repairs are listed on the attached sheet. I was in agreement with [redacted] that we would keep my boat over the winter in his storage building and he would make make repairs this winter. I use the boat for fishing as soon as ice breaks in the spring.I have not heard back from [redacted] and have made several calls to his business and cell phones over the past few weeks. I have left voice messages and have not been called back. I want my boat back so I can go fishing next week.I have attached the supporting documentation and contact information for Mobile Marine.
