Mr. first contacted me interested in buying my dad's old truck. I told him I thought I would hold on to it and maybe get it fixed *** had taken the fuel pump off three years ago and stole the money I paid for a new one). I text him back a few months later and told him I would sell it, he responded back that he could fix it for $2000.00 I said fine. He came over 1/25/2020 at that point he said he needed $500.00 to start the job. He would need to find a steering column, fuel pump, tail lights, but he would be back in the afternoon to start. Sunday 1/26 he called needed another $500.00 he found the steering column in Seagoville. But he would be over to start at noon. On the 27 he was going to come by, still no work done. 1/28 he ask to get $200.00-$300.00 more money because he was having some business issues "well friends scratch each others back, I gave you a good deal". 1/30 he needed $400.00 more for tire, still nothing has been done to the truck for $1400.00. He said he could get the truck done on 1/31 again he no showed telling me I was going to need to trust him he was a different guy since he got out of jail. 1/28 he takes the steering column out and disappears withe it until 2/15/2020 he returned it in a bucket. I had ask for my money and steering column. He refused to give me my money stating he had expenses, I told him that was not the agreement he agreed to fix my truck not run off again with my money as he has in the past.
Being on disability I have a limited income that amount took months to save. I was able to have the bank freeze my credit card but if they reverse that then he recieve all $1400.00. at this point he has $900.00.

I will try and keep this short but I do have ALL the text messages, video, photos to go with. Let me first state that I myself contacted the police on this matter because I knew it was going to be a problem so wanted to make sure everything was handled proper. My actions I have taken with this customer, *** are all from the guidance of th***in. I talked in great detail with him and followed his advice. I did contact *** about a year ago on buying her truck, she didnt want to sale and conversation over. *** recently contacted me wanting my services to look at an old used truck for sale she was thinking of buying. It was a bad deal and way worse shape than hers. Thats when I told her could get hers running for $2000. This was around 1/23/2020. *** said ok that she wants to fix hers. I asked if she was ready(as in having the funds to start) and that I would need $1000 deposit and remainder on completion. The reason for this is because ive had issues in the past getting paid and the truck is 30+ years old. The steering column was damaged is the main reason for working on it. im submitting this before it expires . let me know about continuing

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:
I filled out a complaint on *** Mobile Marine Service. I received a call from area code 210 around 3:pm on my way from part times job. I explained to the lady I was in traffic and didn't have a pen to write down info. She said if she didn't receive information by tomorrow my case would be closed I ask her to please email me so I would but haven't revived the email. I will forward pictures of the torn out steering column Mr. tore up the has written a invoice for over $900.00. Our agreement was to fix the truck where it was ready to be inspected. Mr. describes in his invoice I said I ask um to return the column and thus because I did't have the money. This is untrue I realized we had used my money elsewhere he had ask for $200 #300.00 more because he was having trouble paying his employees. I said no I don't feel comfortable doing that nor do I have extra money for that I live on disability. interest off my savings and 10 hr a week job. I had found steering column for $200.00 so why would I pay him 900.00? I have all in the messages if I know who to email thrmto . I would love to take this to the media., he has done this many imes to others. The heading to the picture to the steerung column will read complaint of Jason ***, complaint from ***

Regards

There isn't anything to dispute. Everything she is saying is incorrect. The steering column in her truck was damaged to start with. She contradict herself by mention getting replacement column in her first complaint. If hers wasn't bad then why would be replacing it. I would be moreinclined to say more if I was dealing with someone telling atleast some of the facts. I've been in contact with her local police department and handled it the way I was told. So I'm going to keep going back and forth on here.
