Review: After reading in the [redacted] a ad for rebuilt transmissions for $695,I called this mechanic.

He quoted me $1295 for a complete rebuild including installation.

While $1295 was more than $695,it still seemed reasonable to me.

He hounded me to get him the car ASAP,as he needed the work,and would have a mechanic working the entire labor day week end.

I had triple A tow the car to him within hours and I wrote him a $600 down payment and HE PUT IN WRITING THE TOTAL REBUILD WOULD BE $1295

IN WRITING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He promised the car by Saturday or MONDAY at the latest

On Saturday I was told car wont be ready

On Sunday I was told,nobody was working

On Monday I was told,nobody was working

ALL LIES !!!!!

ON Wednesday 9/4/13,I was told the car was finished ,however the price was NOW $1595.00Desired Settlement: REFUND $300

At this point the car runs well

However after many many lies,who knows

I dont believe a word out of this mans mouth

Also ,,someone removed a brand new pair of needle nosed pliers from my console.
