issue simply has to return the parts in question for a full refund this customer has not returned to us and requested a refund and also based on there claim that we caused the failure to there head gasket the car did not run when it came in, we simply got it running for them the problem was pre-existing . Prior to it coming to us the customer had replaced the radiator himself do to a overheating issue and his reason for coming in was that the heater core was leaking and he was wanting to know why at that time we told him the head gasket was most likely the reason or he had overheated the engine so severly that high pressure in the cooling system may have damaged the heater core and the radiator the reason the engine would not start was do to the bcm that had gotten water in it possibly from the leak at the heater core and had caused corrosion to the wiring so we repaired the bcm wiring and replaced the bcm then relearned the bcm to make the car run, I personaly talked to him and showed him the damaged part ( see attachment ) I explained what we had to do to make the engine run and advised him the head gasket was possibly bad. I am not sure why he wants to accuse us for a pre existing problem that he was aware he had since he had just replaced the radiator and was knew the engine was overheating prior to his coming to us . Please advise him that our warranty covers only the parts we replaced and that if the part we repaired on his car is defective we are more than willing to repair or replace it but we are not responsible for other problems that are not related to the parts we replaced .
