We have many members within the Kentucky and Tennessee area, and we are sorry that even one member had a poor experienceUnfortunately though, due to the varying nature of radio frequency propagation, it is possible for an area to not meet a member’s coverage requirementIt is fairly common for one wireless provider to have stronger coverage in an area than another, which is typically due to cell site placement However, member satisfaction is very important to us and we want to work with all our members to address any concernIn review of any complaint, there are many details that must be reviewedThe majority of these details fall under [redacted] rules, which limit us from publicly discussing these detailsIn this instance, Our prediction tool shows that the coverage is poor at their addressWe did have a technician visit the site to double check it’s performance and verify there was no storm damageEverything checked out fineOur technician did go to the customer’s address and signal strength matched what our predictor shows and the [redacted] is less than [redacted] To eliminate these potential coverage concerns, MobileNation offers a day return policy for non-contract members where equipment and stacosts are fully refundedA member may exercise their return right for any reason during this day return periodWe have this policy to assure members are able to trial service, before committingThis member is also a non-contract subscriber and has no obligations of any termsHowever non-contract does pay in advance for a month of service at a timeSome credits were given for the time they claimed to not be getting service while we investigatedWe also offered her a refund minus services rendered if she did cancel but she would not accept thatThis member is still and active subscriberWe feel we have done all we could to assist them within reasonThanks [redacted]

*** - Thank you for talking with me today. The response shown below is what I attempted to send on Dec 23, 2015. Again, I do NOT accept Hands on Rescue's response to the complaint as nothing has been resolved. As of today (December 28, 2015) no refund has been received. Thank you for your attention to this matter. *** *** ***
*** - This message is in response to the comments made by Hands On Rescue. I also have no problem with any content of my complaint being posted on the Revdex.com's website in hopes that no one who is seeking to adopt a pet would have to go through the problems and sadness we encountered during this incident. We have since talked to many rescue organizations and veterinary practices who are appalled at what we experienced. We are not trusting of the organization as they have not lived up to their part of the contract by providing our refund, but we are also shocked that they do not do better by these animals that they "rescue" and appear to be in it for the money gained on pet lovers' emotions. Ironically, during the adoption, my husband asked *** *** of HOR if it was hard to give up the puppies and he said they have been doing it so long that no it wasn't, it was a business. In Ms*** response, I would have to ask her to produce a copy of the check or stop payment on the check (we never received) and issue another

I did acknowledge that you would get a full refund of your adoption fee as stated in the contract we both signed That was put in the mail on December the 14th I am sorry again for your loss We take all of our rescues to the vet before they are adopted to make sure
they are healthy Parvo is something that they do not test positive for until it has broken and they start to show signs We have no way of knowing they have been exposed until it breaks No rescue on transport that day showed any signs at all If they had, we would have cancelled ALL adoptions We do understand how serious parvo is and how contagious it is All of our crates are cleaned before and after each one is loaded for the vet or transport They have solid cleanings between any type of transport They are also changed at every stop during transport and if we need to stop in between our scheduled stops we doThe other complaint you read had nothing to do with the litter you adopted from, nor were they adopted the same day That was an adopter from about months ago who was waiting on another rescue to come available instead of getting a refund We haven't gotten one in that she was wanting We do not breed, we rescue We do not pick what comes in That complaint was resolved between her and I

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. I now understand that *** daughter was in labor while she was avoiding my callsHowever, I called her many more than two times, as she claims Furthermore, I also called the other officer of the business multiple times and was never receivedThe business claims that my dog was treated for worms, but coccidia is not a wormMy vet informed me that the dog would have contracted this multiple days before being brought to me, and that a simple stool sample would be able to identify the issuei have now spent over dollars treating the illness Had the business taken the dog to a competent vet prior to sale, the illness would have been detected When the business claims that the stool was checked and the coccidia was not present, this means they are either being dishonest or the vet made a critical errorIn either case, I would like to be compensated At the very least, I would have appreciated a returned phone call.
Regards,
*** ***

I adopted a '***' now our *** from Hands on Rescue It was an easy and wonderful experience He is exactly what our family needed They brought him to Delaware where my kids picked him up He came with initial medical records and was health and very happy I would adopt from *** again I have recently contacted her looking for a poodle mix for my mother She was wonderful on the phone and is trying to help us find a poodle even though she doesn't have any She was very kind and sweet on the phone

We met Hands on Rescue in Richmond on 11/15/to adopt “Harry” (German Shepherd/Lab Mix) The puppy was dramatically ill which was evident within our one hour commute home from the pickup site He had *** stools and was unable to eat Within hours, we were in the emergency vet where he was admitted His estimated age was 4-weeks, not the weeks that was listed on the website He was diagnosed with Coxcidia, tapeworm, severe dehydration, and fleas He was readmitted the following day for further treatment We again had him admitted the third day as he again started bleeding with his stools The vet bills totaled $ The dog we adopted was not healthy at the adoption time and we believe he was much younger than was reportedOn 11/30/15, we asked Hands on Rescue for full refund of the $adoption fee as well as the $in vet bills for a total of $by December This puppy would not have survived the first five days without intensive medical intervention The puppy subsequently died on 12/4/Despite emails that Hands on Rescue wants to "make it right", we have received no money from them despite several target dates for the first check to be sentWe hope that Hands On Rescue will honor their responsibility given the circumstances of this adoption We are happy to update our review if they reimburse us as they agreed to do in an email

I do apologize for not responding in a timely manner to this complaintMy daughter went into labor and a week later finally delivered She needed extra care during this time and the first week after the baby was born
size="3"> ALL of our rescues do go to the vet and get checked prior to being adopted We do guarantee a healthy puppy Puppies get worms, it is a very common thing that happensIt does not mean the puppy is unhealthy unless it goes untreated We also state in our contract, if your puppy does get worms, let us know asap and we will send you dewormer All of our rescues get at least one round of dewormer before being adopted This particular puppy and his littermates had all gotten a good bill of health and received their health certificates before being placed in their forever homes The adopter in this case did try to call me twice Both times I was at the hospital with my daughter and unable to take calls I left for very short periods late at night while she was there I feel that if he goes back and reads his contract, he will see that we have done nothing wrong in this process

When I leave for transport, I make sure every rescue is up to date on shots, had a fecal and physical exam.  They can not go on transport to be adopted if they have any signs of sickness.  They must have solid stools.  If at any time they show any signs of sickness (not...

wanting to get out to go potty, fever, diarrhea, etc.) their adoption is cancelled.  Even if it is during transport.  I still cancel the adoption for that day and bring the rescue back home with me to get the care he/she needs before going through with adoption.  [redacted] showed no signs of sickness at any time while in my care.  I have an excellent vet that examines every one of my rescues.  He would not risk his practice by saying a sick animal is healthy.  I do this to help save the rescues from being put down or from living in horrible conditions.  There is no way I would intentionally adopt out a sick rescue.  That defeats the purpose of me doing this.  I want to address the overcrowding and unsanitary conditions.  I have over 16 volunteers that are always in and out helping with the rescues I have in my care.  Water bowls and food bowls are washed numerous times a day, everyday. My floors are swept and mopped at least one time a day, everyday.  Kennels, dog houses, crates and playpens are scrubbed down after every single use.  There are times I have to turn rescues away when I do not have enough spots for them.  All of my rescues have plenty of space to run and play.  There is no overcrowding.  I copied this from [redacted] that shows the reasons for coccidia.
Causes

Stress, as from moving, travel and weather changes, and being in an environment with other infected animals are the most common causes of this parasitic infection to develop. It is spread through fecal matter, and is most commonly found in puppies that have contracted the parasite from an adult dogs' feces. The coccidiosis infection is of particular danger for young dogs, since their immune systems are still underdeveloped.

Coccidia is not a sign of him being in bad conditions. As [redacted] listed, the coccidia could have been brought on from the trip, weather changes and any other stress he could have gotten once he was in your home (new environment, different people in and out, being without his littermates, etc.).  That doesn't make you a bad person, or mean anything is wrong with your home.  It just means he had a lot of different stressful things going on in a short period of time.  Hook worms are commonly passed in the mothers milk.  [redacted] and his littermates were giving dewormer when they got to the rescue.  All of our rescues are given dewormer because worms are common in puppies.  There are times a second treatment is needed.  That is nothing negligent on Hands On Rescue.
I do everything in my power to make sure every rescue that leaves from here is healthy. When I go in to rescue these animals, I have no clue what I am getting.  I have had flea infested rescues that have taken me weeks to get rid of all the fleas.  I have had a rescue that when I picked her up she was on her death bed and had to be admitted to the hospital immediately because the people who had her did not keep her in a safe place and a dog in their neighborhood killed 3 of her littermates and almost killed her.  I have dug trenches under old houses that have caved in to rescue puppies that their moms have abandoned, numerous times.  I have crawled under old farm buildings and searched through woods.  I have been woke up more times than I can count with the sound of crying puppies someone just left on my doorstep. I do truly care about what I am doing.
I am sorry for everything you are going through, but I truly believe Hands On Rescue did nothing negligent to cause it.

I adopted my puppy Sheila from Hands on Rescue in mid January of this year 2016. The process was seamless from beginning all the way through the end with detailed information on what would happen. As told I met at a set location on the morning of pickup when I turned in paperwork and adoption fees and received my puppy now named Bella along with her shot records. Within the first week I took Bella to the local vet where she was given a clean bill of health and an additional shot she was due because of her age. At this time she is a happy and healthy 8 month old Lab/mix that my family loves dearly. I would adopt from Hands on Rescue again without hesitation!

I did contact my bank yesterday to see if the check had cleared.  As of yesterday, it had not.  I did put a stop payment on it and will resend the check out.  You will get a refund.

They are replacing the puppy as requested, they hadn't responded to my...

messages because they were out of town for a family emergency

I did speak with this adopter prior to everything coming to a stand still on the rescue end.  At that time I did agree to send him $150.  I will gladly send that to him after my first trip up which will be no later than Oct. 7th.  I am sorry if he feels we have been dishonest, but by no means have we lied or tried to lead our adopters wrong.  Our vet is a very competent vet that has been doing his job and well beyond for over 35 years.  I'm not saying he doesn't make mistakes, we are all human.

In this instance, Our prediction tool shows that the coverage is poor at their address. We did have a technician visit the site to double check it’s performance and verify there was no storm damage. Everything checked out fine. Our technician did go to the customer’s address and signal strength matched what our predictor shows and the [redacted] is less than [redacted] To eliminate these potential coverage concerns, MobileNation offers a 7 day return policy for non-contract members where equipment and start-up costs are fully refunded. A member may exercise their return right for any reason during this 7 day return period. We have this policy to assure members are able to trial service, before committing. This member is also a non-contract subscriber and has no obligations of any terms. However non-contract does pay in advance for a month of service at a time. Some credits were given for the time they claimed to not be getting service while we investigated. We also offered her a refund minus services rendered if she did cancel but she would not accept that. This member is still and active subscriber. We feel we have done all we could to assist them within reason. Thanks [redacted]
