The sole veterinarian that operates Mobile Pet Hospital - Sacramento. Is in my opinion inhumane, callous, seriously lacking compassion, and treated my dog and my family very poorly. I ask you to please, rethink using this man's services especially if you have a large dog. We called the Mobile Pet Hospital to come to our home to euthanize our 12 year old dog who was suffering greatly because her back legs totally collapsed the night before. We didn't want to cause her further pain or trauma attempting to move her to the car, drive her to the vet's office, then attempt to carry her into the office waiting room.
t that was supposed to help her and more than anything that she died without anyone that she knew or loved beside her, only the sorry excuse for a veterinarian that I'm so, so sorry I called that day.
We mistakenly believed that having our Molly girl euthanized at home would be a more peaceful, loving, less painful way to end her life, It turned out anything but serene and less stressful for our dog and family members who loved her.
Especially if you have any kids that would be present when your pet is being euthanized, I urge you DO NOT CALL MOBILE PET HOSPITAL - SACRAMENTO. It absolutely could traumatize them.
Something that should take 10 minutes took 45 minutes.

W[redacted] administered 4 or 5 shots to my dog and poked, yanked and prodded her painful body to see if she was yet sedated. He asked that someone lay on our dog's head and hold it down as tight as they possibly could, so he didn't get bit. Molly didn't snap at him, growl or so much as snarl at him even though he was unnecessarily causing her prolonged additional pain.
He drug her across the length of the entire garage although she was in excruciating pain from hip dysplasia. He did this immediately after giving her the first shot, before it had time to take effect.
He is elderly and unable to lift a nearly 100 lb dog alone yet he didn't bring an assistant. He said we had to help load her after she was euthanized, into his tiny SUV. After he quoted us one price on the phone for a 100 lb dog he refused to relieve our dog from her misery unless we came up with another $75. Then because I balked at the cruel way he was treating her and the length of time it was taking he threatened to leave right in the middle of the procedure. To prevent this from happening I had to go in the house and I'll forever regret the fact that our beloved Molly, suffered more physical pain and fear due to the i
