a cracked shower surround was delivered to me. Mobilehomepartsdepot is refusing to refund my $595.00On 2/11/15 I ordered a showerpan & surround from [redacted] @ MobileHomePartsDepot.com. He assured me via e-mail that they deliver mostly to residential and that the driver would call me before delivery so that my contractor could be there to examine and then sign for the product. The driver did NOT call and when my contractor got home and opened up the packaging there was "concealed damage" to the shower surround. He is unwilling to refund my money stating it is the trucking companies responsibility. They are also refusing to refund my money because the contractors wife showed up and signed for the product altho the driver was unwilling to wait for contractor to come and examine. MobileHomePartsDepot sold me a damaged (cracked shower surround) and they are unwilling to refund my money or to replace the item. Desired SettlementThe resolution is a refund of $595.00. At this point I would prefer a refund versus a replacement as I do not want to go through this again...it was delivered on 3/17/15. Although I do not have the exact date, I believe I last contacted him on August 1, 2015Business Response Merchandise was shipped on 03/05/15, customer received merchandise on 03/18/15. Customer signed the receiving documents as " received in good condition" ( no note of damage ) .. After the customer claimed a " hidden damage " we had to turn it over to the freight carrier. [redacted] Carrier declined the claim due to Customer signing the paperwork as received in good condition.Once the merchandise is received and signed for it is out of our hands , the freight companies do not allow us to file a claim with them ..as suggested to the customer previously we recommend customer should file a claim with [redacted] System,[redacted]. [redacted] , and ask for a hidden damage claim. My contractor was not there to examine the delivery. The driver shoved the clipboard at his wife and told her she was lucky he delivered there and that she had to sign receipt. He would not wait for my contractor to return, uncrate the items and examine them. I have filed with both Revdex.coms regarding [redacted] and Mobile Home Parts Depot. I was told by Mobile Home Parts Depot that the driver would contact me before delivery. He did not. Mobile Home Parts Depot told me they would call. Mobile Home Parts depot sold me the product. I am in the middle with each one blaming the other and I am out $595.00, The drivers English was broken, he kept shoving the clipboard at contractors wife to sign, would not wait for contractor, told her she was lucky he deliverd there, she had no way of uncrating and examining product. I have file with Revdex.com for both companies. Basically they are getting out of this because the driver did not want to wait for the contractor and intimidated his wife into signing receipt of product. [redacted] is the salesman that assured me they regularly deliver to residential and that the driver would call in advance so contractor could be there. This did not happen. Driver said we were lucky he deliverd to residential and that usually there is an extra fee for that kind of delivery

Ordered product online.1-Didn't get what the picture on their web site depicted.was nothing near like the picture showed!2-Didn't get all of the components that were to be supplied.TWO "End Pieces"Told the customer service I needed all the pieces and it was an email reply form them that told me I had to take it up with the carrier!Now I know the carrier had nothing to do with what was in the box.3-Recieved damaged product, and was told to take it up with the carrier, was also told it was my fault for not checking all the product upon receipt as well as checking to see if it was the right product!Don't think it was my responsibility to make sure the right product was shipped to me!Product_Or_Service: 60" x 48" % Piece Garden Tub Surround ABOrder_Number: [redacted]Account_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementSend me the two pieces that I was shorted."End pieces"I can deal with the Wrong product and the damaged corners.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted], OwnerContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]The Customer signed the sipping documents as " received in good condition" .. before shipment it is our standard procedure to ask all our customers to review all products and inspect for possible damage etc..
