We will not divulge the numerous discrepancies in [redacted] s statements As we stated before, our shop and our name speaks for itselfWe can not and will not take responsibility for work someone else has performed in the week process between shops When the said vehicle left Mockabee Motors it was in safe running order [redacted] was told of other issues with said vehicle and stated she knew exactly what it needed because she knows all about vehicles At that time we refused to do any other work for her due to her hostility and lack of knowledge of what vehicle really needed And again, as stated before, we have all pictures, documentation and receipts to show what work was performed by Mockabee Motors Thank you for your timeSincerely, [redacted]

In response to last statement by T Taylor:1. [redacted] stated that said vehicle was inspected by another reputable shop on 1/4/2017 and also stated it was to be inspected/repaired? The vehicle was not repaired at said shop?2. 1/10/2017 Now at [redacted] Ford which makes the 2nd shop said truck was at since Mockabee Motors refused to do any further work on said vehicle.3. All repairs were agreed on and were performed. As stated before: I have all documentation and receipts to prove work was performed, including pictures.4. Mockabee Motors will agree to pay zero to [redacted] as all work was performed.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Attached please find an email from *** Ford (Service advisor *** ***) with their findings on the spark plug problems with the truck. They indicated that only one spark plug was replaced with a used plug. They also indicated on the phone that not only was the intake a used (not remanufactured) part but that they also used a used gasket. At this time they have not even checked the master cylinder or booster as we have they engine to deal with first. They also found the ground for the starter has been attached using a hose clamp causing the truck to not start. NONE of the problems existed prior to Mockabee Motors working on it. Taking into consideration their findings not only am I seeking a full refund but also damages and down time as this is the primary vehicle for my business. The vehicle has been inoperable since 11-30-16 . A conservative estimate of my loss of income would be $per day totaling $

Dear *** *** My wife had received a message on 11-29-from ** *** asking her to quote a price for specific work she wanted done to her Ford F-5.4L 4XThe work requested was as follows:1- Brake line replacement 2- New alternator 3- Tune up 4- CHECK for
coolant leakFor these said repairs, she was quoted $from another shop Be advised Mockabee Motors agreed we could complete these said repairs for $ ** *** was very specific on these repairs and informed this writer that she worked in a body shop and knew exactly what repairs needed done Upon inspection of brake line, there was NO leak coming from brake line Vehicle was leaking brake fluid behind Master Cylinder This writer called and requested her to come to the shop and see where it was losing fluid She declined, stating "yeah no don't care that much to look....lol I will trust ya" on 12-1-@ 3:56pm. Pictures were then taken and sent to her at this point I agreed to complete repairs of Master Cylinder and Brake Booster for an additional $150, making her total bill $ She agreed to this price over our phone conversation Upon completion of Master Cylinder and Booster install, rear brake line started leaking and she was informed I replaced the brake line at NO CHARGE as a courtesy(Would have cost $without courtesy) Coolant leak was found to be leaking around thermostat housing which is part of lower intake Gaskets were purchased and installed at NO CHARGE (would have cost $without courtesy) ** *** had husband pick up vehicle 12-15- Later that day, she stated truck was misfiring and I agreed to bring it back and we would look at it They brought the truck back a week later and I replaced #coil pack and pigtail connector for it along with a pigtail and #coil pack -again at NO CHARGE (would have cost $without courtesy) Replaced intake due to crack found, that was not present previously, at NO CHARGE (would have cost $without courtesy). When this writer explained to ** *** that these repairs were not what we agreed on and I did these extra repairs at no charge due to my wife asking for me to do her old friend a favor because she was on a limited budget, ** *** then became very upset and hostile saying all of these repairs were part of the original agreement This writer agreed at this point to not charge for extra repairs but did not want her business as a customer Her vehicle was completed with parts and installation of the following:8- Motorcraft plugs1- Alternatorgallons coolant 1- Brake Master Cylinder1- Brake Booster1- Brake line - rear with bleed2- Thermostat housing gaskets1- Remanufactured intake1- Intake gasket set1- Remanufactured injector2- Coil packs2- pigtailsquarts brake fluid 1- serpentine beltAll non-core parts were placed in bed of said truck per request of ** *** Be advised this writer has the texts for all repairs ** *** expected done and receipts for all repairs along with extra repairs ** *** refused to pay that this writer paid for Receipts, photographs and all correspondence with ** *** available upon Revdex.com request Thank you for your time. Since the original complaint the truck has completely failed, will not run. It has since been towed to a reputable mechanic to be inspected/repaired. At this time it has been found that the intake is not a quality part that was installed (without my authorization or knowledge). The plugs were not replaced and the #coil pack was not replaced as they indicated was the problem after the initial "repair". I am still waiting confirmation on the remaining items on their invoice. I am seeking a full refund since it is coming to light that the repairs were not done as indicated.I have also contacted parts suppliers for verification of the core returns, only parts supposedly replaced required core returns. I have requested to no avail for all old parts for inspection which is required by state law to be returned upon request. At this point the only resolution is a complete refund and damages due to lack of use. This is my primary business vehicle as Mockabee Motors had it from 11-30-through 12-22-and now needing further repair due to negligence I believe I should be compensated.

Good morning Tiffany, You have not heat unless you are pushing gas after further diag we have found that the heater core is clogged and needs replaced.  For the starter being clamped, to properly repair we would need to replace the starter.  Brake lines and booster appear to be in good working order however we did find that the brake master cylinder was completely empty and without knowing how long it has been empty for we would like to start out with a brake flush to remove and air or moisture that has built up in the brake system.  heater core replacement—$1398.97 parts and labor may be able to save $75.00 if all bolts, nuts and clips come out easy and don’t break.starter replacement--$434.84brake fluid flush--$129.95 Tune up = 363.95—parts and laborIGNITION COIL =88.63—parts )have to remove during tune upIntake/pvc hoses =217.86—parts and laborDiag/reprogram—pressure test, remove and install coil, remove and install 2 spark plugs, (reset KAM after above work is completed)=321.00Shop supplies= 30.00Taxes--$201.50New Total for all work--$3186.70   Thanks,[redacted]

From the previous response of [redacted].  It does not appear that there are any other responses needed.  As a reputable business, we are 100% prepared to go to court. Have a wonderful day. Sincerely, [redacted] [redacted]

Mockabee Motors is a reputable automotive repair shop which has a reputation that speaks for itself. Mockabee Motors would request the repair shop be listed as to what shop it is currently at. Mockabee Motors would have agreed to send the said truck to a neutral party for inspection of all work performed by us but since [redacted] has already sent the truck to a shop of her choice, we would not be able to determine a fair unbiased result.Again, all parts that were able to be returned to said customer were returned per her request.

We will not divulge the numerous discrepancies in [redacted]s statements.  As we stated before, our shop and our name speaks for itself. We can not and will not take responsibility for work someone else has performed in the 2 week process between shops.  When the said vehicle left Mockabee Motors it was in safe running order.   [redacted] was told of other issues with said vehicle and stated she knew exactly what it needed because she knows all about vehicles.  At that time we refused to do any other work for her due to her hostility and lack of knowledge of what vehicle really needed.  And again, as stated before, we have all pictures, documentation and receipts to show what work was performed by Mockabee Motors.  Thank you for your time. Sincerely,[redacted]

As per my conversation with [redacted] from the Revdex.com the truck has been with [redacted] Ford since 1-3-17 and they are the only shop that has look at the vehicle since it was cobbled up by Mockabee Motors. [redacted] from the Revdex.com and I  spoke on 1-4-17 regarding the initial findings, and was informed when an email with that information would be provided.  The arrival dates can be verified with the dealership.  The inspection took quite some due the utter incompetence/intentional negligence by Mockabee Motors.  We have authorized repairs to what has been inspected thus far by [redacted] Ford but as the extent of the damage is quite large it is a time consuming process and I would imagine our truck is not the only vehicle they are working on.  Regardless of the attempts by Mockabee Motors to side step the issue by grasping at straws, [redacted] Ford has verified that based on the receipt provided by Mockabee Motors they did NOT perform the work that I was charged for, they DID do damage by rerouting the PVC hoses, by not properly installing the correct parts and by putting subpar parts on my vehicle and incorrectly  along with several other issues that will documented.  As indicated in the email I provided they are focused on trying to get the vehicle running at this point so when the complete inspection is done I will have a detailed description along with photo's provided by [redacted] Ford as they are kind enough to document their findings as they go.   They did cost me substantial amount of financial loss and loss of time due to their negligence.  If this matter can not be solve via the Revdex.com which was a considerate gesture on my part to prevent taking this matter before a judge I will pursue every legal avenue possible to seek reimbursement for both the repair and my loss of money/time.  This is the last attempt to resolve this matter privately!
Regards,
Tiffany Taylor
