Review: My fiancé and I moved into our Mod-U-Kraf house on April 19th 2013. We had already been delayed moving in by almost two months due to the construction company that handled the build. Finally the major construction process was over. We noticed that there were some issues with the cabinets and other minor things. I called [redacted] the sales rep for Mod-U-Kraf, to report the issues with the house. [redacted] had told us that we had a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We set up a date for the following week with one of their technicians. The tech came to the house and inspected the Lazy Susan cabinet that we had complained about. He said the cabinet was definitely not built square and that was what was causing the problem with it functioning properly. He then said that they would replace the faulty cabinet with a new one and that would take two weeks to get it in. Two weeks came and went with nothing done. My fiancé and myself called several times to check on when we could get this issue resolved. We have constantly been given the runaround. Phone calls where not returned. When we where able to get [redacted] on the phone, she said that she would contact the customer service rep and get right back to us. This was a lie. No one has lifted a finger to resolve this. We have been very patient with Mod-U-Kraf, but now we are simply tired of dealing with the company. I am surprised that a company with a 100% satisfaction guarantee would let shady business practices like this to happen.Desired Settlement: 100% satisfaction

This letter is in response to the above referenced complaint received by your office on June 13, 2013 and assigned and I.D. Number of [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] is a client of Tinker Mill Homes, a contractor located in Daleville, Virginia. Mr. [redacted] purchased his home from Tinker Mill Homes and contracted with them to finish his residence. Tinker Mill Homes is an Authorized, Independent Builder of Modukraf Homes and they purchased the modular units from Modukraf for Mr. [redacted]'s modular home. After moving into his home, Mr. [redacted] called Mrs. [redacted], Regional Sales Representative of Modukraf Homes, LLC, in mid May to report several issues which needed attention. Modukraf sent out a Customer Service Representative to evaluate the issues and report back any items that needed to be corrected as well as any discrepancies found. Materials for the repairs were ordered the first week of June and were received at our plant on July 2nd, 2013. Per a recent phone conversation between Mr. [redacted] and myself on July 2nd, 2013 at his residence as stated to Mr. [redacted], all service work will be completed by the close of business July 12th, 2013. Review: In 2014, I attended the factory tour for [redacted] in [redacted]. As a registered participant of this tour, I was due a $1,000 rebate upon delivery and payment of my new home. I purchased the home from [redacted] who then merged with Excel Homes of Virginia and Mod U Kraf. The home was built in the [redacted] factory and delivered in March 2015. To date, I have not received the $1,000 rebate for purchasing a home. I have been communicating with my rep ([redacted]) since September 2015 and all he can tell me is that he has submitted the request.
