Review: Purchased furniture from this retailer around September 2012. Delivery service delivered and damaged the furniture during delivery. Hard wood floor in my home was scratched by delivery service as well. Huffman koos replaced damaged furniture (I refused to accept the delivery of damaged goods). Have been trying to resolve scratched hardwood floor issue ever since. I had been ignored for about 1 year from this retailer. Many excuses were given ranging from the manager of the store quit to the person in the corporate office handling my claim resigned from the company. After one year and repeated phone calls and emails they asked I submit two estimates for floor repair from local repair services and they would reimburse me on the cheaper of the two. Submitted two estimates (one for $550 and one for $585). I hired the cheaper repair service and paid them. Huffman koos asked for a copy of the check I paid the repair service. I have sent them everything they have requested and it has now been 14 months. I received a phone call today from an individual at Huffman koos. He stated to me that he could have done the job cheaper and offered me either a store credit for $550 or a check for half of the cost of the floor repair ($275). I told him I did not want to have store credit because of the experience of dealing with this whole issue and would not shop there again. He told me he can send me a check for $275. I refused and stated I wanted to be refunded the whole amount of the repair. This individual said he would only give me $275.At this point I want my full $550 given to me. I waited patiently (14 months) and complied with their every request to reach a resolution. I would not have paid for a repair if they would have done it by themselves. They told me to go ahead with the repair and they would reimburse me. I never agreed to a store credit or one half of the repair.Desired Settlement: Want the full amount of the floor repair reimbursed to me: $550

Review: We ordered a sofa set more than 3 months back. They delivered love seat and corner chair but didn't deliver the sofa. They have now scheduled delivery for 01/16, but given the history I am not sure about them delivering on 16th.Desired Settlement: Delivery of the sofa ASAP.Apology for the mess they created.Compensate for our time and aggravation

Review: I bought furniture from Huffmankoos on 5/24/2015 and they deliver two time due to special order.One piece is Sofa Table is missing and called them couple of times and visited their location couple of times. Review: Ordered grandfather clock $3850 over phone. Was sent invoice to sign/approve for processing. Called Salesperson to cancel order. Did not sign or return invoice and requested cancellation of order over phone to salesperson. There was NO APPROVED ORDER processed. I received my American Express Bill and the full amount of sale was on the statement. Contacted AmEx and no refund wasever issued. It was my understanding that a card doesn't get billed until shipment is being made.Again, there is no order for shipment therefore, no amount should be reflected on my statement.I tried to contact Huffman Koos-left msg at corporate office and Fairfield store. Still waitingfor a response. In the meantime, I have filed a dispute with the AmEx against Huffman Koos.Poor communication and deceptive conduct from salesman. Sneaky business practice.Desired Settlement: I want this removed from my statement.

Review: I purchased a dining room set from Huffman Koos in Fairfield, NJ. The top half of the china cabinet was not delivered. The store insisted it was in the delivery truck when I called at the time of delivery. The delivery man insisted it was not. Both the store and delivery person supposedly called "Corporate" and then I was told that a new piece would be ordered. Now I'm told there is one piece in a warehous somewhere but the store is waiting to hear back from someone as to whether or not the piece is in good condition. The store tells me they have sent numerous emails to "Corporate" about this issue and haven't gotten any response back. Now I see they no longer have this style, Aniston, listed on their website. In researching complaints about Huffman Koos, I see there is not much hope of me having a complete set. The bill came very quick in the mail though!! What recourse do I have to fight paying the complete bill? Please help!Desired Settlement: I would love to have the piece delivered and complete the set if it is in good condition. Otherwise, I would like to not pay for the piece since I never got it! If they had a china cabinet top that matched in wood, style and color, I would certainly like to see that and maybe choose that option. I'm not looking to cause trouble, I'd just like to have a nice dining room like I was assured I would have.
