I booked this hotel back in August 2014 for the dates of October 31st till Nov 2. We got to the hotel as scheduled they had over booked the hotel so we had to stay in separate rooms for the weekend. We returned back home to [redacted] I looked at my bank statement they charged me the $212.00 for the room plus another $300. I then called the hotel 4 times before the Manager would call me back. The manager was very rude saying you broke a lamp and split soda on the bed, I told him we did not that we would never treat property that way. He then sent me 3 photo's of room text message. 2 of the bed and one of lamp shade. I again told him this is Not how I left the room and there was a Coke can in one photo and we do not drink coke at all. I then asked him to refund part or all of my $300. back he said No you destroyed a room. I then asked him to fax me paper work of what was damaged etc. He said No.. We were overbooked so I comped guest one room in the amount of 212.30. When my room checker entered room she round room in condition of pictures. We had to Bio-hazard the whole room from shower curtain to comforters, sheets, pillows, pillow cases,mattress pads, comforters, mattresses, coverlets for the beds, carpets had to be shampooed. When I spoke with guest they stated that they did not stay in that room they stayed in the other room. I feel like the guest is liable for these charges as it took my house keepers 2 days to clean room after red bagging whole room, the $300.00 is way less than the cost to replace all linens,pillows,etc.
