I leased an apartment from this company in Knoxville TN, after my experience I would never rent from this company, they will drive you into the grave with their persistent harassmentThey will tell you up front things like "we have such a friendly living environment" or "our lease is based upon every other lease agreement and its merely formality" But trust me the worst thing you can do is take their word for anything READ IT, you will be glad you did as it will deter you from making the mistake I made and leasing from themI rented from them for a month lease, the first months of the lease I not only paid on time but paid a month ahead of timeafter my wife lost her job and I lost my primary job we went through our savings staying afloatin May we had to make a partial payment and had $left to payTennessee state law states that a company cannot evict if they accepted a partial payment, yet on the 26th of may (remember we are yet to be days late) we were served with a detainer warrant for possession of the unit for the 3rd of Juneon the second of June I paid full rent for May, yet the company extended the detainer warrant to include June's rent which at this time was not considered late and moved the court date to June 17thAfter trying everything I could to get things back right court ordered eviction on the 17th (again not days late as law states for eviction notice) so my wife, my year old son, and myself are out with no place to go because this company who "makes their best effort to help those in cases like (mine)" used a loop hole in the law to evict without any eviction notice and no day procedureBTW days later I had the rent money and I informed them of such yet they could not wait hours to me this does not seem like helping those in this situation as they saidI advise against leasing from this company and if you do be sure to read every detail of the lease that's how they get you

SCAMMED! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO APPLY WITH THIS COMPANY! I was mislead for two weeks regarding the status of my application. [redacted] verbally assured me that I would be approved.. "All I had to do..." This was the beginning of the line to ensure she met her quota. For 2 WEEKS, they lost/misplaced paperwork, requested that I 'back date' forms to match computer records, and LIED about faxing verification request.This company is not forthcoming regarding the nature of the process. I had to call 911(Nashville POLICE) just to get my security deposit back and information pertaining to the disposal procedures of the private identity information that was no longer being used (to protect against 3rd party identity theft). They REFUSE to give me any information regarding info disposal OR my Security deposit back until the police stepped in ( even though I acknowledged that they could KEEP the $35 app fee)!!!! After attempting to give customer feedback regarding improving the transparency of the application process, I was completely dismissed by one of the owners, [redacted], as a 'upset applicant who was not approved.' This was not the case as I simply wanted him to know about the lack of transparency and paperwork manipulation that resulted in my poor experience at their property. This company takes advantage of low SES, minorities who seek government assistance. PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER COMPANY THAT ASSIST WITH LOW INCOME NEEDS. AVOID the LIES, MANIPULATION, MALTREATMENT, and unnecessary HEADACHE!
