We have been your customer (Anderson) since buying our home in Florida years ago I recently had a Maintenance check on Friday, Oct14, Tyler T [redacted] was our Service Tech I reported to him that the condensation tray had been filling with water and that this problem had been serviced in July by another Tech from Modern Tyler immediately noticed the gauge was half filled with water He went into his examination, discovered the insulation was soaked and the outside drain was cloggedWhen the outside panel was removed to check the coil, he found a furnace filter had been sucked in around the coil We had never been without a filter ( my husband had changed the filter a few weeks ago, removed the old filter and checked the positioning to make sure it was installed properly.) Tyler called everything to my attention and explained what was going on, explained how important it was for the insulation to be completely dried out to help protect our unit in the best wayHe removed as much water as he possible could, cleaned everythingchecked everythingWhen he was trying to address the clog in the condensation pipe outside he couldn't get the opening cleared., so he kept looking and discovered that one of the braces were installed upside down and somehow had caused the unit to shift enough to keep the water drops from exiting through the pipe...he finally resolved that problem,too He worked so hard trying to give us his most excellent service and he certainly did provide excellent service He went far beyond a regular service call because he kept discovering problemsIt remains a mystery how a filter got sucked into the coilTyler said the filter had to have put in wrong for that to happen A service tech had changed the filter last Tyler suggested we only run the fan and not cool for or days and watch the gauge outside to make sure the condensation pipe had water drips coming out I followed directions explicitly , with only air on set at 80, for nights and days...everything checked perfectly when I turned the cool Air on late Monday I called Modern Services to see if I could have Tyler call me for an update He returned my call right away and was so pleased everything worked out well I appreciate Tyler's customer care so much He is an excellent, caring Service Tech for Modern Services Sincerely, [redacted]

Modern installed a new Rheem home A/C system in May for a cost of $But the system is defective with leaky evaporator coils and failed in June I have since discovered that this is a known issue in the industry While Rheem replaced the part, Modern charged us over $in labor to fix our year old system No discount on labor for a system that they sold us and installed Very unhappy with both Rheem and Modern This system should not have been sold or installed I was depending on Modern to install a quality unit for my home

Totally unprofessional. Advised to get a new AC system because it is not worth repairing . On the second opinion it turned out we just have to get a new teromstat

Modern Air / Anderson installed our system in approx. 2012 we have lived in our home since 2002. Well we had an appointment for service at 5 pm Friday 8/19/2016 and they cancelled it without informing us. We found this out @ 6PM that our appointment was rescheduled for Monday the 22nd. They did send a tech out that night who proceeded to saw cut the ceiling, left a pile of debris and packed up and left leaving no resolution.
Saturday morning @ 9AM we called for a solution and were told a tech would be onsite Monday 8/22 @ 8AM.
No show or call on Monday morning. Left several VM's which were unanswered, finally about 2PM they agreed to send a tech. At 4PM the tech explained unit was frozen, needs new duct work and that for him to stay it would be a charge.
We declined and the tech packed up and left.
4 days in August with no AC in Florida... Resolution, we had to call a new company in who's tech found a simple Freon leak, problem solved in one hour.

I called Modern Services to see if I could have Tyler call me for an update. He returned my call right away and was so pleased everything worked out well. I appreciate Tyler's customer care so much. He is an excellent, caring Service Tech for Modern Services.
