Alterations to our daughter's wedding gown were done improperly and the top back of her dress came apart during her wedding
On 11/4/our daughter,*** purchased a wedding gown from Modern Bridal Shop in Orlando At that time several alterations for the dress were discussed and she was assured by the alterations staff that all alterations could be completed properly Once the dress was received at the shop, ***, her maid of honor, and I returned to the shop on 4/25/for the initial fitting The dress was pinned in the exact locations for all alterations We returned to the shop three additional times for fittings, as the alterations were not done correctly at each fitting Finally on the last visit, which was only a couple weeks before the wedding the alterations looked like they had been done mostly satisfactorily There were still a few minor issues, but there was no time left to have them redone nor to find another dress What we could not have forese
