I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
Regards,
*** ***

In response to the complaint by *** ***, *** and her husband *** *** purchased a Jeep Patriot with 62,miles on it from us on December 12th The company that financed their loan was CPS When the finance company did their customary employment verification
interview with ***'s employer, his employer stated that *** was not full time and could come and go as he pleased and that he could take a month off if he wanted to After hearing that CPS said that he failed the employment verification and withdrew the loan We had another lender that said they would do the loan barring everything verifyied We contracted with that lender Regional Acceptance When Regional did their verifications they found inconsistencies between the SSI award and what was deposited into the bank So they asked for months bank statements (When a lender gives a loan to a consumer they verify that what the customer is telling them is true They don't fund the loan until they do so.) We called the customers at this time and asked for the bank statements and they ignored our requests and even hung up on us We made several attempts to get them to bring in the statements They never brought them to us On January 13th, Regionals bank rep came through town and I asked him if there was anything that he could do so that we could get funded for the car without having the bank statements, since apparently there was a problem with the statements and It had been over a month since *** and *** had bought the car and we had not been paid for it The bank rep got us and exception which made is so we didn't have to produce the bank statements With that exception we would have had to recontract them at a month term (which would save them $in the long run) We told the customers that and the next thing we know is they brought the car back and said that they wouldn't sign new contracts and that they didn't want the car At that time we executed the Colorado Disclosure DR2434, that they customer signed that states that the customer agrees to pay $a day and a mile if the contract is cancelled The mileage on the car when they returned it was 67, They had put 4,miles on the car and had the car for days They owed us $ Of course this is the last thing that we wanted to do, we worked hard to get them a loan None of this would have happened if the customers would have produced the extra bank statements that the lender wanted to fund the loan I am not sure why this was such a problem but that being said, even with no bank statements they could have signed the new contracts and not have been charged the $ I have not received any communication from the customers except this complaint Sincerely,Trish B#-###-####

To Whom It May Concern,We had Mrsand Mr*** bring the truck into our service dept where we fixed the problem at no cost to them We also provided them with an owners manuel and key which was on order at the time of the complaint I believe that this has satisfied the
***s.Sincerely,Trish B#-###-####

To Whom it May Concern,In regards to the rejection by Mr [redacted], I would be happy to write letters to the lenders that his credit was submitted to as well as the three credit bureaus, stating that there was confusion as to what Mr [redacted] wanted us to do with the signed credit application and that he did not want us submit his credit.  Samantha has worked for us for several years and have not had any problems of this nature in the past so I  am not sure how the confusion came about but regardless I am more that willing to appease Mr [redacted] with letters and would still offer him an oil change on us. Thanks, Trish

To Whom It May Concern, First off I would like to thank Mr. [redacted] for shopping with Modern Classic Motors and I would like to sincerely apologize for any confusion that took place while he was at our dealership.  Mr. [redacted] came to Modern Classic Motors while test driving a truck from...

another dealership, which is fine and we understand shopping around.  However when Mr. [redacted] arrived at our dealership he said that he had a pre-approval and that the lender recommended that he come to Modern Classic Motors and also that he was interested in using a different lender if we could get him a better interest rate.  He also mentioned that the dealer who's truck he was driving was having a hard time getting him approved based on the miles  and or year of their truck. He provided the sales person a lot of financing concerns.  Based on the statements from Mr. [redacted] the sales person asked him to fill out a credit application so we could ask our lenders what interest rate he would qualify for on a similar truck.  Mr. [redacted] filled out the credit application, signed the credit application and the sales person proceeded with the task of getting him some answers to his interest rate and financing questions.  Our dealership was just trying to help Mr. [redacted] and had no intention of upsetting him.  Our only goal was to get him the answers he was seeking and ultimately earn his business.  Again, I am very sorry for the confusion and I would like to offer Mr [redacted] an oil change on us to hopefully make him feel better about the whole situation.Sincerely,Trish B[redacted]-owner

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The owner is lying that she did not speak with us. His employer said nothing of of the affect. She also doesn't even know his name as it is certainly not [redacted], which shows a lack of consideration and investigation into this matter. We do do not agree with any of what Trish stated in her response.
Regards,
[redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the response. If the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]
