Awesome work Aservice and crew
Thanks guys

The fact that I had to file a "complaint", in order for my paperwork to be pulled up is unacceptable to meShe knew I had lost the paperworkI was not informed that the records aren't stored in the storefrontI wasn't informed about anything regarding the recordsI was told that "interns" handle that. Her record keeping may be clearly intact, but I never got to see it so how would I know? The storefront was not busy at all the day we went to the storeNo one else was in thereI believe one phone call came through while we were thereYes, I brought dresses in, but didn't feel the need to mention the 3rd one because it was of little value to me, and I wasn't about to pay $to get it backThat's why I told her I didn't want that oneIf the other dresses did not sale according to the consigning contract of Feb8th, why weren't they in the storefront that day? I still feel I need to see proof that she still has the dresses or proof that they sold and whenI want to make sure they weren't sold during my contract, and I wasn't notifiedI know they are not MY dresses anymore, but I want to know if they were sold during my contract

I’m going to address the mistruths stated in this complaintant the facts backed by a ConsignmentContract signed by the person making these unfounded accusations.:1. The customer starts out by saying that “This is not necessarily a complaint” but uor “recordkeeping lacks clarity and...

allows room for’ question”. This consignor when present at our shophad asked what had happned to her dresses and she was told that without checking ourrecords we could not say with certainty what had happened to her dresses. Our records arestored in our business office not at our store front location. We have many consignorsconsigning anywhere from ito 20 items each. I’m sure this particular consignor thinks that wehave nothing more important to do during Prom Season but to keep track of her dresses in themiddle of our busiest time of the year. Her paperwork was pulled after receiving this complaintand it was verified that her Consigning Contract Date was February 8, 2015 and that all threeof her dresses were not sold. At the time that this person consigned her 3 items, she received acopy of the Contract and the Information Form for her records (all the paperwork that we have). She has proof of when her contract ended. “MY RECORD KEEPING” is clearly intact. As she•states in this complaint, she lost her records. -2. It is clearly stated in the Consigning Contract that if the consignor does not pick up their item(s)by the end of their contract, their item(s) are deemed abandoned and become the property ofthe shop. It also clearly states that it is the responsibility of consignor to keep track of theirContract Ending Date and that NO reminders of any kind will be generated by the shop. Thecontract was both signed and dated by this consignor. She did not pickher items up by the endof her contract so she no longer owns her dresses.3. She mentions in this complaint that she brought 2 dresses to our dress shop but she actuallyconsigned 3 dresses. My records clearly show that she brought in 2 short dresses and 1 longdress. She also states that “they (her dresses) were not there (at the shop)” when in fact, shedid locate one of her dresses that she had consigned. But she made the comment that shedidn’t want that one.In closing, our dress shop is a reputable business not an extension of this person’s closet. Sheshould not question the integrity of our shop because she was neglectful and did not uphold herpart of the contract. This is the first problem/complaint we have experienced in the many years wehave been doing business. Our Contract was constructed to protect our business from people likethis. I’ve wasted enough time on this ridiculous matter and find it hard to believe that anyone canfile a complaint and have it publicly posted when it is so obvious that they are in the wrong! Sheadmits it in her own complaintSincerely,[redacted] Modern Elegance

Review: This is not necessarily a complaint. I brought 2 dresses (prom & homecoming) to this dress consignment shop last winter (total value $1000 new). I signed a contract that if the dresses did not sell in one year they would be considered abandoned and their property. By the time I realized I had not gotten a call from them, (they only call if dresses sell) I was already one to two months out of my contract. (I don't know for sure because I lost my papers.) I totally forgot about the dresses being there. When I called them on 03/10 I was asked for a contract # which I could not find, and without it, they can't find me in their system. I feel that I at least have the right to know if and when my dresses sold, and if not proof that they still have them. We went to the store looking for them after calling ahead, and they were not there. I feel that it's recent enough (only 1 -2 months out of contract) to be fresh on their minds whether they sold them in the 1-2 months I was out of the contract. My concern is that they were sold within my contract, and I never got a phone call. I would hope this is not the case, but I am sure you can understand why it could be a possibility. I would think my name would be associated with the contract number in their system. Their record keeping lacks clarity and allows room for question?Desired Settlement: Proof of when my contract expired, if and when the dresses sold or proof of abandonment date.
