This was by far the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt withAs a paying customer, I was yelled at, lectured, and insulted by the pathetic excuse of a sales manager ***Their main problem is their sales staff, Zeldy, [redacted] , and especially ***I placed an order in store through Zeldy in August of and gave her a $depositI was told my $TV stand would be delivered to my door in mid November I never received my item and was not contacted at all through the end of NovemberAt that point, I called the Miami showroom where I placed my order and spoke to a man named ***After expressing my disappointment in not receiving my item and not being contacted, I asked for a 20% on the sales price and [redacted] easily agreedI was told that delivery would occur in mid DecemberMid December came and went, I never received my item and again was not contacted by Modern Miami to update me on the status of my orderIn early January, I decided to go to the Modern Miami showroom in Hallandale where I made my purchaseI walked in and located [redacted] I explained to her that I was here to ask about the status of my order and why I was not contacted when the item could not be delivered on the day promised to meZeldy told me verbatim "Its not my job to call you and inform you of these things." Her demeanor was immediately hostile and I responded that yes, it was her job since she took my order and deposit for an item I had never received after waiting monthsThis was my first contact with ***He interjected himself in our conversation as I was protesting [redacted] excuseHe was immediately rude and dismissive of my complaintsI went to sit at his desk instead of [redacted] still keeping my cool and politeness at this pointI again laid out the whole story for him hoping he would try to resolve the problemHe looked up my order, printed out my invoice and presented me with a copy of my invoice that reflected a different stated price than when I purchased the itemapparently, when I had called to complain and ask for a discount, [redacted] and [redacted] thought they could scam me by literally crossing out the price STATED ON THE INVOICE AND WRITING A HIGHER PRICE ON TOP OF THE ORIGINAL PRICE TO CANCEL OUT ANY DISCOUNT THAT WAS PROMISED TO ME EARLIERIn essence, the discount they gave me was applied but to a higher price, making the total the same exact amount that would have been due without the discountHaving noticed this when [redacted] handed it to me, I was outraged and told [redacted] that this was not the price I was quoted by *** [redacted] literally told me "Sorry, thats the priceThere is nothing I can do." After minutes of protesting, and me demanding that the price be adjusted to honor my quote, [redacted] said, "why don't you go upstairs and speak to [redacted] Apparently, [redacted] was their Customer Service repI explained the situation to [redacted] , showed him the invoice and stated my discontentHe immediately got on the phone with the corporate office in California and was able to confirm that my quoted price would be in fact honored, despite ***'s statements [redacted] confirmed my delivery date for the following week, I proceeded downstairs and told [redacted] and [redacted] how unhappy I was and disappointed that they would not try to make things right when I came in but a simple minute call by [redacted] solved everything right away! As I was trying to leave, [redacted] angrily got up from his desk to lecture me about "the way things are done around here." I left in complex disbelief at how this "sales staff" had just handled this situationWas it because I looked young? I'm not sure but I handled myself very professionally up until the point where the scam revised invoice was shown to me I waited for my delivery the following weekIt never cameI was never contactedThis was now the third time in months that I was given a delivery date and my item never came and no one contacted me to tell me or make alternate arrangementsThis is a pound TV stand I am talking aboutI called the Modern Miami showroom the next day to ask where my item was and when it would be deliveredThe person who answered was [redacted] I told him who I was and told him that I preferred to speak with [redacted] He said "Ohhh its the bigmouth! Hey bigmouth, there is no one here but me, bye!" and hung up on meI called back, [redacted] answered, I again demanded to speak with anyone else but himHe again hung up on meI called the store an additional times in a row to finally get [redacted] to answer the phoneShe told me that [redacted] no longer worked there and hung up on meI called back and again spoke with [redacted] I told [redacted] that I would be bringing the police to her business to file a report of theft of my money or conversion of my TV standShe told me would call the corporate office and get back to meNever heard from her so I called corporate office myself and finally confirmedSCAMMERS AND UNPROFESSIONAL [redacted] ***

I was told my $1500 TV stand would be delivered to my door in mid November 2015. I never received my item and was not contacted at all through the end of November. At that point, I called the Miami showroom where I placed my order and spoke to a man named [redacted]. After expressing my disappointment in not receiving my item and not being contacted, I asked for a 20% on the sales price and [redacted] easily agreed. I was told that delivery would occur in mid December. Mid December came and went, I never received my item and again was not contacted by Modern Miami to update me on the status of my order.
