On July 1, 2014, Ms.*** *** came into my shop, she requested for a manicure and pedicureWe had signs that stated we only accept cashShe said she would pay with debit, and we clearly said that we had not accepted debit or credit.We
told Ms*** that there is an ATM right around the corner, and we told her to leave something of hers behind to make sure that she would come backAfter the service she refused to leave anything behind, and then she walked out the door without saying anything then I had to follow her to the car, to once again tell her to leave something behind before she went to go get cash, once again she refusedI told her if she wouldn't leave anything I would have to take a picture of her license plate and her licenseWhen I said that she told me that she would drive me with her to go get cash, I refused leaving with her because it's not my responsibilityAfter that she gave me her phone to hold on to until she came back to payI had also not accused her to be a criminal or anything, I had said, " That is our policy, after a client had their nails done if they don't have cash they could leave something behind." But, normally our clients use the ATM behind our shop so they would not have to use there car therefor they it wouldn't be necessary to drive anywhere far so they wouldn't need their licenseA couple hours later she came back to pay and we returned her phoneShe then took our business card and left.
I feel I haven't done anything wrong
or have mistreated her in any way, it's just the way
we run our business, and we have dealt with this before

Review: Poor sanitation, poor signage and grossly poor customer relations. [redacted] performed nail services and I was a first time client I told her I would be paying for my services with my debit card and any tip would be in cash. She stated she did not accept cards. I let her no I would need to go get cash. She stated that I could once she finished but she wanted my cell phone. I explained that was not an option as my pacemaker is run via my cell. she stated that she required another credit card to be left. She followed me to my car demanded to view cards in my wallet and then stated she wanted my drivers license. I cannot operate my car without it in my possession. she then had jon come out who called me a criminal and stated that he did not want my card as they were no good. he wanted my driver license. repeated why I could not use it. they wanted me to use another atm with the mall requiring a fee to use and my bank would also apply a fee. I explained that I had no problem paying and offered him to ride with me and offered him to view my insurance card. he requested to view my license and I showed it to him. He them without my consent took a photo of it along with my license plate. I told him I had a major concern with that and that I had a 20 year relationship with the eye doctor within the mall, we could walk over and I am sure they would provide an excellent reference to cover me while I was away for 5-10 minutes for the 20 bill. He refused and stated that he would accept my card the next time I come for services. Either they have a kickback in fees in that ATM or this business is full of scams.Desired Settlement: Verification/statement from Jon that my photos were deleted. Refund of my money and signage that is clear. Additionally, verification as to why he required me to pay in cash when he accepts debit cards.
