Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I have saved my communications from the business - there is No mention of it being out of stock I received an email notifying me that they have issued a refund, but did not say whyThe business did not respond to my question - Why? Which prompted me to contact Revdex.com I have since purchased the products from a different company at a higher cost Which leads to believe they had advertised a price that they did not intend to honor, maybe it was a mistake or just a advertisement, I would not know, because they would not communicate! It is a good policy to be honest, I do not want anyone to loose money, but if you have a list price, then honor it (by law), or at the very least, be honest about your mistake and don't try to lie about it to Revdex.com either This is not an honest business and do not deserve you logo! We sent an email to the customer on 5-14-@ 5pm Eastern
indicating the items were out of stock and we were going to refund
Since we don't accept backorders we refunded the customers
purchase on 5-16-for the full purchase amount
We completely followed the terms of service as displayed on our
website regarding backorders and out of stocks

I have emailed with *** multiple times and told him repeatedly that I will refund his purchase if he returns the fasteners He was aware when the order was placed of the lead times, that the items would be manufactured for his order and the additional shipping times to HI We are not
in a position to provide products for free, if he wants to make the return, we will make the refund

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Mr.J[redacted] response, like his previous dealings with me, are not truthful.  For example please see below the shopping cart at the moment I purchased these items September 4th:Cart ItemsQtyItem PriceItem TotalSubtotal:$1,043.45Estimate Shipping & TaxGrand Total:$1,043.45 Accurate ZA0234-BR3 : 1-1/2 DIA ROUND PANEL STANDOFF 3 LTH 5/16-18 X 3/4 TAP BRASS CLEAR COAT US3 In-Stock - Ships in 24 HoursRemove$14.87$609.67 Accurate ZA0260-BR3 : ROUND PANEL STANDOFF CAP 1-1/2 DIA X 7/16 HT 5/16-18X1/2 ATTACHED STUD BRASS CLEAR COAT US3 In-Stock - Ships in 24 HoursRemove$10.58$433.78It says "In stock, ships in 24 hours".  It says "Clear Coat".  Neither of these terms of the contract were fulfilled.  In a later Order Update it is claimed that Modern Tool Supply shipped the product UPS.  In fact the products were shipped un-expedited through the post office, further delaying the shipment.It is a problem that the items in question are attached to 10 pieces of furniture in ten different apartments, with ten owners.  If he had shipped the items described there would be no problem.  If he had shipped them when the contract said he would ship them I would have had time to return them.  Finally Mr.J[redacted] did not even respond to my concerns in the e-mail dated November 25th until January 29th, when further pressed.  Please keep in mind that I have all of our communications records via e-mail, in part because his company has NO PUBLIC PHONE NUMBER.  I have dealt with him in good faith from day one.  Modern Tool Supply should refund my entire purchase cost immediately or lose its Revdex.com accreditation.  I feel that any customer in my position would have experienced the same frustration and financial loss.  Thank you again for your time.Mahalo,[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]

I will not be providing these fasteners for free.  I have offered to provide a full refund in exchange for a return of the fasteners.  I will not change my offer.  I am considering this matter closed if it is not accepted by 2/21/2015 with the items returned to me by March 1, 2015.
