Review: I purchased furniture from the company in august [redacted] 2012 receipt #[redacted]. The purchased furniture loan was secured from General electric company through the furniture company also, the warranty purchased from Guardian protection company ([redacted] ####-###-####) was purchased through the furniture company in the sum of $300.00 which was part of the loan. On [redacted] of April 2013, I contacted the guardian(warranty company) that the dinning table and the 4 chairs they provided coverageand warranty are broken, I was told that the warranty did not cover the damage because it is manufacturer defects which must and have 1 year guarantee, I called the manufacturer to inform him about my predicaments, the GM of the furniture never return my call, I went to his show room and met with his staff to lodged complaints, but never get back to me or return series of phone call. I sent an official letter mailed to the company with a return receipt that was signed and sealed by the GM but nobody return my call or call to see the broken chairs and table on till the time of writing this letter. I called guardian the warranty company again in June to file claim which can only be done on phone the company representative I spoke with denied my claim, I requested that the reasons for the denial be communicated in writing she bluntly refused the request. I am still paying the monthly loan granted by general electric received through the furniture company and my familypresently placed food in their hand and sit in living room settee to eat, the last chair was broken when my 6 years old daughter seated taken her dinner thank God she did not receive any injury from the broken chair, the table has totally collapsed. I am getting frustrated with the system and I am considering holding on to payment of the dinning set if the company continue to ignore me. I will send the picture of the destroy furniture to the bureau. Your advise is hereby sought on how to resolve the injustice. The total amount of furniture purchased was $7000, a $1000 was paid in cash as deposit while the rest was converted to loan, the cost of the dinning set was $600.00.please help.Desired Settlement: I want the dinning set to be replaced.
