ATT:Revdex.com, THIS LETTER IS IN RESPONSE TO THE COMPLAINT GIVEN BY MR*** ***. A *** TACOMA PK WAS SOLD TO MR *** *** ON JULY 25, THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED INCLUDING A DAY/MILE WARRANTY WHICH WAS FREE OF CHARGE INCLUDED IN THE PRICEON AUGUST 6TH, MR
*** BROUGHT THE VEHICLE IN FOR A WARRANTY CLAIM. THERE WAS SEVERAL CONCERNS WITH THE VEHICLE. 1. ANTENNA MISSING OR DAMAGED.2. REAR RIGHT SEATBELT NOT LATCHING.3. FRONT RIGHT SEATBELT WAS DIRTY AND SHREDDING ON THE EDGE.4. A SQUEEK HEARD AROUND 2ND GEAR5. GRINDING HEARD DURING SHIFTING AT AROUND 65-MPH. THE DEALERSHIP PERFORMED THE FOLLOWING INSPECTIONS AND REPAIRS:1. REPLACED AND INSTALLED AN ANTENNA2. REPLACED THE REAR RIGHT SEATBELT.3. CLEANED THE FRONT-RIGHT SEATBELT4. PERFORMED AN OBDII DIAGNOSTIC TO CHECK FOR ANY POSSIBLE FAULTS OR CODES TO THE TRANSMISSIONALSO TOOK VEHICLE FOR A ROAD TEST AT 60-MPH FINDINGS:TECHNICIAN FOUND NO CODES IN THE SYSTEMNO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ONNO FAULTS ON TRANSMISSIONTHE TECHNICIAN DID NOT HEAR ANY SQUEEKS OR GRINGING ON THE TRANSMISSION OR CLUTH. THE VEHICLE SEEMED TO BE IN GOOD RUNNING CONDITION. THE TECH FELT THAT PERHAPS THE GRINDING THAT THE CUSTOMER HEARD WAS DUE TO THE DRIVERS ABILITIES ON DRIVING A MANUAL TRANSMISSIONIF THE DRIVER DOES NOT PRESS THE CLUTCH PROPERLY TO ITS CLUTCHING POINT, THEN YOU WILL GET A GRIND WHEN SHIFTING THAT IS THE CASE AS WITH ANY MANUAL TRANSMISIONS THESE FINDINGS WERE EXPLAINED TO MR ***. WERE SORRY HE FEELS UPSET. IT IS OUR BEST INTENTION TO KEEP ALL OUR CUSTOMERS SATISFIED. MODESTO AUTO CENTER IS NOT CROOKS AS STATED BY MR ***. WE ARE A BUSINESS THAT HAS BEEN OPERATING SINCE 1998. HOWEVER THE DAY/1,WARRANTY PERIOD IS EXPIRED AND MR *** WILL BE CHARGED A DISCOUNTED SHOP RATE FOR ANY REPAIRSAS FAR AS RETURNING THE VEHICLE AND GETTING A REFUND, THAT IS NOT AN OPTIONTHE LOAN HAS BEEN APPROVED AND FUNDED BY A FINANCE COMPANYCALFORNIA LAW SAYS THAT THERE IS NO COOLING OFF PERIODMR *** SIGNED AND ACKNOWLEDGED THAT HE WAS GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE A “CONTRACT CANCELLATION OPTION” HE DECLINED THE OPTION AND DECLINED TO HAVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE SALE AND/OR RECEIVE ANY REFUND FOR ANY REASON SHOULD HE RETURN THE VEHICLE

I would never go there. They spam Craigslist in the Community category instead of posting their ads, and paying like other dealers, in the Cars+Truck section.

To me that is not how a business should operate and I will never shop there and recommend to everybody I know to avoid them also.

I bought a car from them and I was 3 months from having it oaid off when the engine blew.I gave it back to them with the agreement of a $500 dollar credit to my account that would not expire.a few years later I dealt with the same sales rep.armando whom sold me a 1995 bmw in april and he was aware od my situation when selling me the car,so im automatically assuming that when I couldnt make the payment I wojld have at least two months to make a payment dye to the fact I had a $ 500 dollar credit on my account,but instead I got a knock at the door after 1 and a half months of non payment mind you a start we r interrupt was active for.about 2 weeks prior to them showing up to repossesse the vehicle,so I was robbed with no remorse by thus man who calls a "man of God". Not once but twice.these are horrible peopl we who pray on thr poor.dont buy a car here..the are scammers.

I would truly recommend anyone wanting to buy a car or truck to stop by Modesto Auto Center. These people will work with you to find a car in you'r budget, honest reliable staff my wife loved this place.

Horrible! I will never ever ever buy here again. All there cars arw junk. And when you go to get them fixed if under ca 30 day warrenty they use used parts! HORRIBLE. RUDE TOO
