I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
[redacted] did call me yesterday late afternoon and agreed to swap out the stereo for a new one and also mentioned that he would switch out the [redacted] and steering wheel module if he needs to in order to ensure that everything works and functions appropriately.  Thank you.

Modesto car toyz is responsible for any damage done to the vehicle once it was in their possession for the work that was requested therefore Modesto car toyz is liable to pay my $500.00 deductible as well as the $180.00 refund for the window tint. I did file legal action against the company that was subcontracted and it was founded I sued the incorrect company and was suggested to sue Modesto car toyz. I have chosen to file via Revdex.com before filing legal action versus Modesto car toyz.

Business states that they have contacted the customer and have made multiple appointments to look into resolving the pending issues. Customer has failed to show up to all appointments.

completely satisfied.. and have no problem exchanging the unit you purchaed until your satisfied, all product purchased comes with a liftime labor waranty , 90 days no questions asked swap out warranty , and a 1 year manufactors warranty,

Review: Took my 2008 [redacted] TL to get my windows tinted, cut my windows and car with a razor blade trying to cut the tint.Desired Settlement: Pay two times my 500$ deductible, refund for the window tint 180$

We did not do the installation of the window tent for that [redacted]..The job was subbed out to a window tinting facility and they made the mistake not us at Modesto Cartoys.

Review: I called Modesto Car Toys to install a stereo which I had purchased elsewhere previously. I told them it needed to be "hard wired" in which they said they would charge me $40.00 to do. The guy looked at it and said he will try, half way through the car wont start and was there tell 2/21/13 tell closing and was told he couldn't get it working and I need to have it towed outta my pocket. They refused to do anything about this. I'm told by General Motors they whipped my computer. I just want my car working again. I drove it in working and had Mike's Tow pick it up from the owner. They didn't give me a receipt but Mike's Tow did.Desired Settlement: Pay for my car to be back in working order, which the way it was when it was brought in.

Business' Initial Response

Company states that the consumer came in with his wires chopped, knowing that he needed the vehicle to be hard wired. They did not even work on the vehicle. He drove it around to the bay for them to do a diagnostic. Once in the bay he could not get it started again, the company never even had the opportunity to look at the vehicle. He had to have a tow company get the vehicle out of the shop. The damage already existed before the vehicle was ever brought in.

Review: I purchased a car stereo,installation kit and all the electrical components to be installed in my 2005 [redacted] Equinox. They guaranteed me that everything would work properly including all chimes for the doors and all the controls on the steering wheel. The controls on the steering well don't work. I call them numerous times and they don't ever call back. The man who I dealt with is named [redacted], he said that he is the owner. I don't have the money to take it to another place to get it fixed right. I deliberately left my arm rest consol full of change and all of it was gone when I picked up my vehicle and it was supposed to be finished and my dash was still all taken apart. There is also damage to my dash.Desired Settlement: I want to be able to take my vehicle somewhere else to have these items fixed properly and for Modesto Car Toys to have to pay for it all.
