Response to Revdex.com Complaint # [redacted] & ***’s Chevy was originally brought in for upholstery work, new battery, shifter adjustment and gaugesSoon after their car was brought in they began a habit of visiting our shop every Wednesday to check on their car and the progress of work; which often times lead to changes/addition of work requested to their vehicleThese changes/additions were made via verbal conversations with us and/or via a plethora of sometimes nightly emails to us requesting things [redacted] wanted on this car.As explained to [redacted] & [redacted] on multiple occasions their changes & additions of work adds more work hours on their car they will owe in the endThey stated that they were fine with this and it was important to them that [redacted] got his car how [redacted] wanted itWhen [redacted] & [redacted] picked up their car on they were very happy with their car yet unsatisfied with the final billThere were many things that we did not charge them for, but their were many hours invested in their project [redacted] stated that he did not have enough to pay for the bill and we went ahead and agreed on an adjusted total.After this their car was brought back – they needed upper & lower ball joints, front coil springs & a new batteryThis work was done, their car was picked up on & the bill for it was left unpaid.When contacted by the BAR we were surprisedWe willingly gave them all our information and recounted our side of the storyAt no point did they request us to refund the customer their money They shared their inspection report with us and we were immediately willing to Make the necessary repairs (which were very minimal) or Pay for these repairs to be made at another repair shopAs per the BAR representative that contacted us the Hergerts did not respond to our offer and therefore rescinded the offer and closed the case.We take pride in our shop and the workmanship that leavesIf at any point a customer has a problem we are always willing to 100% make it rightAs a side note: · [redacted] & ***’s car was built by someone else before being brought to our shopWe worked on the things they asked, however not everything was done by us and much of the previously done work was not “show quality” workMuch of the hours spent working on their car included correcting previously done work before we could complete ours.· Their money was justly used to pay for their parts and labor for the work done to their car· I do not have any parts of theirs - as per our shop policy any parts not picked up within days of their vehicle pick up are disposed of

I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] ***, we are not questioning if you purchased a Flaming river rack and Pinon You didn’t put a Flaming River Cradle, the Service Manager for Flaming River and his Engineers all said that what is on our car is not a Flaming River cradleYou cheated us! Plain and simple!!! So don’t lie, because when you lie to us, you are really lying to yourself, period!! I would believe Flaming River above you because I know you guys lie!!! When you purchase a Flaming River it says right on their web site no Cutting, no Drilling or no welding, and you welded it to our car, why? As we know, you have proven that you are not honest or you would already have paid us back, but instead you refused How honest is that? You probably did purchase a Flaming River and you have a receipt, but for who’s car, since you didn’t give us any receipts we have nothing to compare with And since you didn’t give us a written estimate you and your shop owe us all our money back that is the law You should know better, SO DO THE RIGHT THING!!! Whether it is on the Bureau of Automotive Repair report, these items are things you worked on and should have been done correctly, period!!! The day after we picked up our car, the car didn’t start When we checked under the hood, our neighbor came over to see what the problem was He saw - inch screws that were not bolted down around the billet V Belt, nothing was tied down(We did not request a [redacted] , [redacted] had requested an Eddie Motorsport to begin with [redacted] ordered this on his own) Brake fluid reservoir should have been filled when your shop installed it, but instead your workers left it empty and leaking or maybe it was empty because it was left leaking, but as the shop owner you should have checked their work since your workers were all new Great job on your part!! Again at Christmas time my sister came out for a visit and guess what happened? While we were coming home from dinner we were going down the road on Blacow Road, one block from a m**or intersection, we are coming up to a Red light at an intersection and Mark yells hit the brakes Libby!!! I could hear the panic in his voice, I reacted but it was dark and I couldn’t see the brake pedal but I moved and instead of hitting the brake I hit the gas because your workers did such a great job on the pedal when they installed the gas pedal almost below the brake pedalWe ran though the red light and thank God there was no cross traffic coming through This could of caused a m**or accident or cause us to hurt someone very badly or killed us or someone elseDue to your inexperienced worker working on the brake pedal the screws on the brakes were approximately to inches long, they were not cut down and Marks Shoe lace got caught on those screws and he was not able to apply the brake himself! Another great job your shop did on our show car, which isn’t a show car anymore thanks to you and your shop!! You get the blame you’re the owner! Do the right thing!! At this point I should ask you, if you and the kids would have been in our car? How would you feel about getting a car back after paying $37,and what your shop touched is not working correctly! How safe are you in your car? Oh yes! You drive a new truck and it wasn’t put together by your shop so there for I would trust it too!!! These are only a few of the many things that your shop worked on and didn’t check, since then we have found lots of things that were not checked You as the shop owner should be ashamed with the work done on our car And you should want to do the right thing, but then again you would have to have a conscience which you have proven that you don’t have, with all your lies, you have proven that Do the right thing and prove that you care, give us our money back and pay for our repairs at a shop of our choiceWe already have a mechanic that knows what he is doing with years experience and we have seen his put together carsThey are really show cars!!! GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK!!!! You can make all the excuses you want but you are still the responsible person, as the owner you have been pretty lucking that someone has not gotten into an accident or killed someone because of your shops work Do the right thing!!! Give us back our money!! We gave you $37,100.00, to do everything right You know ***, I bought a car that is eleven years old and I have never checked a screw or a bolt, because I trusted it was put together correctly!! And so far it has held up because it was put together correctly by honest people, bottom line!!!! When we had our meeting with you and [redacted] a month before we picked up our car, [redacted] promised that we could drive anywhere we wanted, and do you know we can’t even trust the car out of Fremont, because every time we take it out something doesn’t work like it is supposed to, because of the great job your shop did on our carDO THE RIGHT THING!!!! If we do not get results we are planning on going on to the Governor and the President and anyone else that will listen to us! Period!!!!!! [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: Revdex.com Reply to ** ;I finally after 1 week less than 1 year finally picked up our 55 Chevy expecting a perfect car. And got a messed up sloppy mess of my ride. Dude this is personal - you chopped up my ride made it fall apart on every thing you did after [redacted] left. It is one big sloppy mess and keeps falling apart when I drive it !!!Today the pop out door stopped working and the key does not work upside down the way your in-Experienced Mechanics left my ride.After finally picking up our 55 Chevy:2 Days later my Engine over heats and on all the way hot. Found out Electric Radiator fan stopped working.Then a day later my neighbor notices a bolt loose on the V belt system.Then one day I Happen to see a puff of smoke and wondering what the heck is going on with my car.Felt under my Master Cylinder at brake area leaking fluid and found that when I put a napkin around the area that the stop light switch was leaking. I decided to check the Master Cylinder for fluid level - it was on the bottom almost empty. I found it was leaking ,at **’s and I told the Mechanics that they need to find the Leak.They never fixed it - I could have had a serious accident - they gave me an un-safe car !Oh yes parking brake does not pull outThanks for the great mess on my car !It took me 2 minutes to find the leak.We were with a friend of ours [redacted] is a Sherif Officer and he said lets go to my house down a couple of blocks and pick up some Brac Fluid before you have an Accident.We filled up the almost empty Master Cylinder.Mean while some time later I find that a Control Arm bolt on my upper Control Arm is just a few threads from falling off.I checked and both Upper Control Arms are loose and all lower steering Control Arms are loose except One, so I assume none are Torqued down!Also after trying to make turns I found I don’t have full turning Radius.I had [redacted] in Fremont Bleed the brakes after I changed out the leaking Stop Light Switch. [redacted] at [redacted]was very helpful and apologetic from finding the kind of sloppy workmanship he saw on my 55 Chevy Show Car!After I told him about the bolt almost falling off the Upper Control Arm, he said “I guess he is going to kill someone! “[redacted] found the Pillow on top of the Rack And Pinion was not tighten down. He found a broken wheel stud that fell into the hub cap.He found loose lug nuts that were not torqued down.He found that the bracket under the Leaf Springs was the wrong ones,So causing the leaf spring to pull out instead of staying straight ! You know **,the Rear Leaf springs I ask you to fix for me which you and your in-Experienced Young Mechanics did not fix.So I Contacted [redacted] from [redacted] at [redacted] who We know.  He said send me some pictures of your Rack and I did.He said see if you can tighten down the pillow but make sure it goes down ok. Don’t force them down.He asked for more pictures to see what the Rack and Pinion and Cradle looked like after I mentioned I did no longer have the Turning Radius I had when I purchased the Car from [redacted].   So [redacted] from [redacted] tells me,“ that is not our Cradle. it is not a [redacted] Cradle Hanging way down and we do not weld to the Frame, it just Bolts in! I go what ? “ That is not our cradle?Then I asked him how can I tell if it is a Flaming Rivet steering Column. He said right on the shaft that sticks out the firewall, it should say [redacted]. I went on line and verified the [redacted] steering shaft should look like.So when I checked the Steering Column, no words saying it . That is not [redacted] Column either,That is just Plain fraud,After I paid ** 2 times for the [redacted] kit for my 55 Chevy Big Block.So ** bear faced lied to me,telling me he was going to buy it againand I gave him $2,100 again to Purchase the [redacted] Kit for my car which includes the [redacted] Steering wheel !That is just plain Fraud by ** and [redacted] !Which he did not do and I had already paid for from Up Front Money,That I gave him to purchase new parts for my car for me. That is just plain Fraud !And after I figured that out,I talked to 3 people who told me that is the way he does to All his customers !So needless to say I will never have him or his unexperienced Mechanics touch our 55 again.After [redacted] and his Dad left his shop who were working on my car, I have been bullied by ** and promised things I now know He has not delivered. He lied to me !And he Chopped up a part of my ride.And stuff on my car which is never needed on a properly installed 55 Chevy upgrades.They sell all the parts for bolting on our 55 Chevy.Him and his less Experienced Mechanics do not know what they are doing and they don’t do their Home work !!!And they gave me an un-safe ride.So I am looking for ** and [redacted] to do the right thing and pay me back and pay for my repairs.And don’t tells us you don’t have my parts I know you keep parts,Example: Used Tire pan you put on my 55,Which I never agreed with and asked you to fix the cut out and bracket inside that old tire pan!And by the way you Owe me back my Black AC Condenser Radiator That you installed on a Black 1951 Chevy Truck , I believe his name was [redacted].Don’t worry when I find him I will let him know it belongs to me and you took It from our 55 Chevy!Nice try telling the BAR The BS that I owe you $5,000 - you are just a liar and you took my car parts off my car and did not Return them:Missing of my car:1 Black AC Condenser and mounting bracket2 Sun Visors and Mounting Brackets2 AC Air Condition Vent LouversLibby’s CushionFuel lines were not purchased or installedElectric Seat was not Purchased or installed936 Shift indicator Rod not replaced on 55Firewall heater and AC cover your mechanics screwed upHorn Ring kit missing - No Horn - illegal in Ca.Horn Ring Screw missing[redacted] Kit with FR Rack and Pinion, Cradle and [redacted] Steering Wheel.Missing from our 55 - that We Paid for 2 Times. What a rip off and Fraud !So I calculated $ 16,889.67 parts Costs-                                      $22,100.00 paid up front Leaves $5,219.33Well I will be darn just like your lie that We owe you $5,000.00, BS, your Lying !You really know how to Cheat peopleAnd we are Senior Citizens too!!!So do you seriously think We are going to let that stand.Sorry Mister the Law is on our side.You owe us all the Money Back .I am trying to be kind about it but If your going to just ignore us,Just go right ahead.We will not let it stand .Ok plus missing Parts off our car is Electric Seat $518.95Fuel Line          $113.89Add parts missing off my Car Plus missing [redacted] KitTotal with missing Parts $ 6,144.32Total with missing FR kit $8,334.12Or by Law $22,100 + $15,000 Labor            Equals $37,100 .Oh Labor costs inflated You charged us 200 hours And a Mechanic said it should be closerto 72 hours.And tried to install 2 Unisteer Rack and Pinions Which I never orderedThat wasted time is on you Not my labor cost.And Of course I now know why that failedWith a chopped up Old laying around Cradle You decided to cheap out So you could keep More of my up front money.Sounds like Fraud to me.Oh and I am sure our Car Parts are still in Your shop.Needless to say We are very mad at Your lie - “ You will be able to drive it any where “We can’t trust it down the Street,So I am always caution when I go some whereExpecting some thing else to break down.One Mechanic I talked to said,“ That is just a Chop Shop.”** and [redacted], YOU OWE US !!!So by the Law since No Estimates were given to me or signed to do the workYou owe me every dollar back !That is the Law, as [redacted] told me several times !And no Receipts for part numbersWhere the parts came from, used or not .Which the Cradle is obviously used,And Chopped up!Which We paid Up Front for.And he gave you paper with the List of parts we wanted.And prices of every thing.Missing:Which I asked [redacted] for And she sounded like she had no clue.And I asked her again.She says, “ no, just list of Labor Cost ** came up with.Mark & LibbyConcerned Senior CitizensWho feel Cheated and Abused and Taken !!!And he is the Email about my Car from the Fresno BAR:“ [redacted]
