Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10991476, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I brought my truck in because of squealing of the brakesThey are still squealingI asked for a tuneup, which took tries to get rightNobody asked me about a broken a/c beltWhy would you if the belt was not the problem? That just doesnt make senseAnd I absolutely NEVER said that my a/c did not work beforeThat is a flat out lie! Or maybe the employees have me confused with another customerBut I never said thatThere is no dirt and grime on the broken lineI am not trying to get an existing problem fixed for freeMy A/C worked the morning I dropped it offI have a mechanic that I use regularly and will confirm that I have not had problems with my a/cI have friends and family that ride with me regularly that will also confirm thisI have talked to MrModica personally and will give him a chance to resolve this issue before taking any further actionAs of now, this issue is not resolved Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Businesses response via phone conversation with consumer:I appreciate them resolving the issue and righting what was wrongI am satisfied Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Mr [redacted] requested that we check a brake noise, which we did, found no problems with the brakes other than a faceplate was to close to the rotor He then asked for a tune up and our mechanic did an analysis of his car pointing out that along with replacing plugs, wires, fuel filter, and injector service, he needed an AC belt Both the salesperson and our mechanic were present when the customer said not to worry about the belt since the AC doesn’t work anywayWe did the requested work, the customer left and returned immediately with a miss because a plug wire popped off a coil pack because it was not fully pushed on We corrected this and he returned later with a miss and we found a spark plug was cracked and was causing a misfire, again no problem to fix, but he says he has no AC The problem with the AC is an AC freon line, about 5/size is broken in half and has been that way for awhile, as evidenced by the dirt and grime in the break, therefore the AC has no freon and will not work Our mechanic did not break the line, it was not in his way to perform his work Had the line broken while it was in our shop, everyone in the shop would have heard the noise and seen the resulting freon escaping from the car No one did, because we did not break the line Our employees know that on occasions something happens and is broken and that we accept responsibility for that and repair it, but, when we do not break it we do not repair it for free

In an interest of customer satisfaction, we refunded this customers money

Mr*** requested that we check a brake noise, which we did, found no problems with the brakes other than a faceplate was to close to the rotor. He then asked for a tune up and our mechanic did an analysis of his car pointing out that along with replacing plugs, wires, fuel filter, and
injector service, he needed an AC belt. Both the salesperson and our mechanic were present when the customer said not to worry about the belt since the AC doesn’t work anywayWe did the requested work, the customer left and returned immediately with a miss because a plug wire popped off a coil pack because it was not fully pushed on. We corrected this and he returned later with a miss and we found a spark plug was cracked and was causing a misfire, again no problem to fix, but he says he has no AC. The problem with the AC is an AC freon line, about 5/size is broken in half and has been that way for awhile, as evidenced by the dirt and grime in the break, therefore the AC has no freon and will not work. Our mechanic did not break the line, it was not in his way to perform his work. Had the line broken while it was in our shop, everyone in the shop would have heard the noise and seen the resulting freon escaping from the car. No one did, because we did not break the line. Our employees know that on occasions something happens and is broken and that we accept responsibility for that and repair it, but, when we do not break it we do not repair it for free
