Hi, we submitted this response originally on Friday August 4, 2017 @ 8:45am. This is our second duplicate response. B[redacted] called us just a few minutes ago. I spoke with her personally. Also, yesterday the Jewelry Store where she purchased the ring called us and we spoke with them at that...
time. Both calls were concerning a ring that was previously graded by Global Gem Lab in the year 2005, twelve years ago. As a point of Reference Global Gem Lab has been purchased and sold several times before we took over their database records and equipment. I explained to both the Jewelry Store and to B[redacted] that we have the database record of the report in question (from 2005) and that we would re-examine the ring and review the report information. If an error had been made we would be happy to correct the report, re-issue the report and send the report out to her at no charge. We would need to inspect the ring to do this for her. Global Gem Lab has customers across the country. The procedure for "Out of Area" customers is to have the merchandise shipped to us; (by FedEx, UPS, or USPS) we will then write the requested reports and return ship the merchandise and the reports to the customer. This is a usual and customary procedure for all Gem Labs in the USA. The GGL of today will most certainly stand behind the work of GGL from twelve years ago. There is however a procedure that must be followed. The normal turnaround time for this type of request is two (02) business days. Of course we will help B[redacted] with her issue; we made that offer yesterday, and again this morning.
