Modr's Service Center

The guy that worked on my car was the worst person I have ever met. He was rude and inconsiderate and could not even get 1 bolt off. I will never bring my car back to this place. Also, the elderly lady in the gas station was very rude as well. I would rather run out of gas and break down than take my car back to this place.

Review: On 3/31/2015 I T[redacted] spoke with Ryan M[redacted] of Modr's service center in West Point Va. about moving my tool box. Through a verbal contract we agreed on a cost of $150.00 to move my tool box from west point Va. to Ashland Va.

I called Modr's service center 804-843-2433 later that morning to have a truck come to get my tool box. The driver Mike, showed up and loaded the tool box and secured it to the roll back tow truck.

We then set out for Ashland, About 6 to 8 miles into the trip the tail on one of the ratchet straps came loose and got under the right drive axle tires. This pulled down the strap until it broke and severely damaged my tool box. The truck had also ended up with some damage so we had to turn around and return to Modr's service center.

The tool box had to be transferred to a different truck because the first truck needed more repairs before it could be driven again. So again the tool box was secured to the second truck, I again spoke with Ryan M[redacted] to determine to coarse of action of replacing my now damaged tool box; He assured me " we're going to make it right ".

I contacted my Snap on tools dealer, [redacted] and told him my box had been damaged and I needed him to find a used box to replace it with, at the time I was not aware that the bottom box was also damaged. I told both Ryan and [redacted] it didn't have to be a new box or even the same color, it didn't matter where it had to come from or if it was going to take a month to get.

That was about as flexible as I could be, as I would later find out the bottom box was also damaged. As soon as I realized the bottom box was damaged, I called Jeff to let him know that both boxes needed to be replaced. Later that week [redacted] another Snap on tool dealer 804-824-1899 came to the shop to break in to the bottom box so I could get to my tools, he also took pictures of the damage that he sent to [redacted].Desired Settlement: I want my tool box replaced, they contacted my Snap on tool dealer and were sent a invoice, yet have not replaced my damaged tool box.

Wouldn't give me a price before they did the work, told me they would be fair. Was told to come in at 8:30am for the tow hitch and electrical to be put on, got there at 8:20 and the older lady in the shop told me to wait outside because it wasn't 8:30 yet. I had my 8 month old and we walked up and down the town for 4, yes 4 hours until they were done and then they told me the total was $161 and they ONLY TOOK CASH!!!!!!!! who does that??!! Did't appreciate the rude old lady, or the slowness of the work and especially the jacked up price when I asked for a price in the beginning. Never go there.
