Mods for Rods is under new management so my negative review is no longer validI've talked with the new owner and he seems to be an honest person, unlike the previous owner

My review will start with one simple statement. Do not trust these people!
I had Mods for Rods give me a quote of $25,000 to restore a 1971 Opel GT but after 2 years and $81,000 later they delivered a car that is substandard. Within 1K miles the car broke down 3 times and each time Mods made some excuse why it wasn’t their fault.
I sold the car at a $60,000 loss and the person who I sold it to contacted Mods for some work he wanted done on the car but Mods would not even give him the time of day.
So do not trust anything these people say or you will be taken for a ride.
As you can see they are not accredited by the Revdex.com and there is a very good reason why.
