Review: I brought my phone in for a front screen repair on may **, 2013 I was given a receipt and paid $65 thought it was a great deal after recieving my phone exactly 2 weeks later the screen turned completely hazy and bluish ink type screen I couldnt see well or text well brought it in to have it fixed was told it would for free of charge since it was due to a problem they caused while repairing front screen of iphone 4s.... I recieved a call from the person at the store and was told that it wouldnt be fixed free of charge since as they allege the front screen isnt a screen they use. I havent taken my phone anywere else and especially not in two weeks to have it repair twice. the salesperson assured his repair guy was a person of integrity and accused me of scamming him with another phone to get free service he lied straight to my face saying he knew people like me and would do me the favor of fixing my phone but only for the original price.. therefore ended up paying for a screen repair of 130$$Desired Settlement: I want a refund!!!!!!

Response:

Dear Revdex.com and valued customers,

We, Moe Minutes INC. would to address that we do not anticipate nor enjoy disputes with customers and hope to resolve any issue.

We handle any inquiry with honesty, patience, & respect towards our guests. Anything less would be contrary to our goals.

Simply, we value service and will be accountable to resolve any mishaps.

Unfortunately, the facts in this case made it very difficult.

-We accepted the customers I-phone on the [redacted] of May to repair their screen. Fixed it & charged a total $65.00.

Customer returned 2 weeks later with-LCD issue (screen was appearing hazygreen) They stated it wasn't dropped or any water damage.

We didn't hesitate to take the phone for repair. No more questions- We only said that if we caused it, (which we'd naturally assume, since we last repaired) then we'll fix it up.

After opening the screen, we noticed the that the screen was NOT our screen. The different logos and mark easily distinguished that. Next we checked to see if the serial # of the phone matches the previous one, and it was the same one. Which only means there's a different screen in there.

We took pictures of the screens, and have documented our proof and of course triple checked everything.

We contacted the customer and stated ONLY the fact that it is not our screen, thus, the lcd issue may have been caused by a screen switch etc. but not by our repair and that is "all we are saying".

We clearly clearly emphasized that we do not assume or guess your actions- We cannot say what you did or did not do. that's not our place to-And arguing with the customer is not our interest either.

Although the customer completely made it seem that we accused them of lying etc.

NONE of that is true and this is exactly why we follow our rules. That is, we let them know very well that we do not want to fight and only go by our facts, but they insisted that I tell them what I think they did with their phone/what the scenario maybe etc.. The interesting thing in this kind of situation, even after attempting to resolve it peacefully, the customer appeared very defensive.

We told the customers that we did not cause the lcd problem because the problem was caused during the process of replacing the previous screen with the current one.

And in our defense, we always fix the screen and give it perfectly fine and everything working. We are very open to accept errors no question- customers right-..Just as long as its not something like in this case.

Next we said If you'd like for us to fix it we will but cannot do it free of charge.(Obviously that did not sit well with the customer)

Eventually the customers husband and I, calmly settled it at a fair price which that gentlemen was alright with, and we fixed the LCD for $30 (half the cost)

There's no reason for us to try to scam. We honestly do not have the time to deal with these matters. We also handle many repairs, lcd, unlocking etc. & this is the first time.

My repairman is licenced and incorporated on his own. He handles each item gently and with experience. In essence, the facts could not allow us to do it for fully free. In fact, negotiating a price was fair enough.

To the customer complaining:

As understanding as we have been with you, after how genuinely we care to help fix your items, and did not hesitate to your initial requests. We simply just wanted to provide you the service you needed. Now its hard to come to the bottom and we do not mind your complaint. What we despise is that you stated on your complaint letter to us -- YOU SPEND 130 $--..BUT THE TOTAL charge WAS 65&30=90. This is noted/receipts and you know that so why exaggerate on the numbers too.

It's also amazing that you ALSO asked a friend to send the same complaint except only REPHRASED and IT SAYS ONE HUNDRED Dollars not 130.

It's also interesting that you request full amount but we fixed a screen properly at first which we can mutually agree on. So if at most, it would only be an LCD(30$) refund which makes me ponder.

Moe Minutes would also like to ensure any reader that our work is trustworthy, and we place customers first. Most importantly we serve honestly-& believe that honesty can only avoid such clash.

Wherever this entire situation went wrong and for what it is worth, we apologize for any inconvenience that we may have caused.
