Review: Im very disapointed with Moen Mobile Mechanic, I was having problems with my car. I called Moen Mobile, had a conversation with the owner about my car. He told me that he charges 75.00 to check the problem. Of course the car wouldn't act up while he was test driving, so he tells me if the car acts up to give him a call and he would come over and take another look. Made several calls left messages and finaly he answered the call. Told me a bunch of BS and that he would look at his schdule and call me back. He never called me back, he sure was in a hurry to collect his fee. First he over charges doesn't follow up. I had to take the car to a shop and for 40.00 they found the problem and fixed the car. If the owner [redacted] would have been honest with me I wouldn't be complaining. I would like a full refund from [redacted] I would never refer his service to anyone.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

Moen mobile came to Mr. [redacted] appt on 4-8-13 for a one hour diagnostic. We checked for codes and found vehicle speed sensor code. Further into inspection we found that his transmission fluid level was 2 quarts we advices to refill transmission fluid To proper specs. We road tested for 10 miles with both me and Mr. [redacted] and the vehicle never duplicated the original complaint of the transmission slipping gears. At that point I advised to top off fluid and retest due to the fact that if u are that low on transmission fluid it can cause those syptoms. We were there for over an hour between road testing and checking the vehicle transmission control module for faults along with inspecting any other possible problems. Our labor rate as the customer was adviced is $75 per hour. I was there for well over a hour total and the car had no symptoms as the customer had described. So I told Mr. [redacted] to call us when the symptom accrues and I can and test at no charge. Later that day he call and said its acting up I drove it 30 miles and the problem is still there I asked if he topped off fluid like I had adviced he said no not yet. I told him before you drive back that 30 miles top of fluid cause being that low can cause severe transmission problems. I would like to see a call long showing he call multiple times without us answering. My business returns every call we receive. Yes sometimes we are busy helping other customers or on the other line but if they leave a voicemail we always get back to them. I'm sorry that we are a very busy business where we can't drop everything at the drop of dime. Our business did call back everytime he called. We are not goin to offer a refund we went above and beyond for this customer. We do not overcharge any of our customers That is our set price and Mr. [redacted] agreed to per his signature I'm sorry that the customer felt this way but we can issue a refund we did our job and we are more then fair. We are a mobile business and we come to our customers for their convience.
