Response:To explain our side of the storyI will copy the same letter that we sent to the customer via certified mail and regular mailThe letter explains the whole story about the transaction with Mrs***We have been nothing but nice to herShe has been making harassing phone calls to us
and the manufacturer and threatening us of filling a complaintWe have been in business for a long time and was able to maintain our good reputation, our number one goal is to make our customers happyI will also fax the response to your office at *** ***Below is the actual letter we sent to the customer which I copied and pastedIf you need additional information in regards to this matter, please do not hesitate to contact usthank you for your timeMoghelis Furniture *** * *** *** ** *** *** *** January 21, *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** RE: sofa chaise Dear *** *** *** ***, This is in response to the letter that came from the mail todayYour original purchase was the two (2) accent chairs that we had to special order for youYou picked them from a catalogWhen the chairs came in you said there was something wrong or some kind of a discoloration on the wood, which was incorrect because the chairs are rustic style and that’s how they are supposed to lookOur policy as stated on bottom of the receipt which you signed states “ALL SPECIAL ORDERS ON UPHOLSTERY ARE NON- CANCELLABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLEALL OTHER REFUNDS WILL BE IN MERCHANDISE ONLY”The chairs are upholstered and special ordered which means that they are non-cancellable and non-refundableIn spite of all our efforts trying to explain to you that there is nothing wrong with them, staining the wood and showing you the picture from the catalog, you were still not happyYou insisted on returning the chairs and exchanging them with the sofa chaise that you now haveSince we want to make you happy, we took the chairs back from you and went against our policyWe have been in business for a long time and our goal is to make our customers happyWe have on our floor a sectional that you liked and you asked if it can be ordered as a sofa chaise we said yes, so we then ordered it for you the way you wanted it and that’s what you have nowWe received a call from you weeks later stating that there is a problem with the chaise cushionYou stated that there is a sink hole or somethingWe immediately contacted the manufacturer and they sent the replacement cushionWe called and asked you to bring the defective cushion since they needed it back, you said you cannot because you have a smaller carWe then agreed to bring it your house and do the exchange as a courtesyWe tried to come to your house to do the exchange but you refused because now you are saying that you want the whole sofa returnedWe sent *** to your house to do a visual inspection and saw that there is nothing wrong with your furniture and that it is in excellent conditionWe have explained to you many times that the sofa has a lifetime warranty on the frame and any manufacturer defect will be taken care ofAgain, regardless of all our efforts in trying to make you happy, you are still not satisfiedWe have a store policy which you signed on the bottom of the receipt as stated abovePlease understand that we are not taking advantage of you being a senior citizen or any other customerWe have read your letter but it was kind of hard to understand the hand writing and the pictures are hard to seeWe feel that we are being taken advantage of since we have been nice to you since the beginning and that we have gone against our policy just to please youWe would like to be fair with you and we also expect the same from youYou could bring the furniture to our store and we will send it to the manufacturer at our expense for inspection and/or repairPlease let us know when you can bring it over so we can inform the manufacturerWe appreciate your time and we look forward to hearing from youSincerely, _________________ *** ***

I am rejecting this response because: In regards to letter from Mogheli, the letter and information is not rightLike I told you in letter I sent you to Mogheli the chairs does not look like the book it had some wood dropped on bottom of chairs it was like white molds on them and no one told me it was like thatThey was horrible looking I spent around for them 2#So after taking chairs over to business they finally gave me credit and I needed a couch ours was getting old so we got the credit no refund cashI spent a lot more around for a couch which was on the floor and some colorPillows on back couch is crushed down and won’t stand up like an old pillow you buy its cheap and cotton so it’s hard to sit onThe cushion was there when I came back over and picked out couches to suit this couch has a good warranty on itOur furniture is great! I loved style of couch last weeks after get couch the couch started sagging and *** come out late, and said nothing wrong but wouldn’t sit on chair to see how it goes downI could see sagging then took one of pillows to store and Melinda said open zipper on pillows push stuffing back upEvery time sit or someone sits on them you have to try to get them to stay upThis is every day sitting on couch! No heavy weight on them or no kidsI am 125ibs and I sit on chair, my husband is 170lbsno one is where would cause this to happen just bad material and bad padding it’s not like a new couchIt’s not good quality! The chairs I ask *** why if they was so nice, still in plastic took back!? I’m stuck with a terrible looking couch looks like months old or worse every day on itThat’s not right! Send someone here to see couch everyone that seen couch says it’s terrible for a new couchFurniture is nice and takes good care of itWhy should I have spent 1300+ on couch and a little while week started to sag? I called and went to the store and showed her one of cushions on back of couch and she said open zipper on pillow and push back cotton up to corners to shove cotton around in pillow when it happens, terrible since it won’t stay up now and those cushion is getting bad when *** come over I showed him the cushions also and he said, can’t fix that and wanted to put a pad in chair! Some kind! He then wanted us to bring the whole couch over to store? What am going to use till they get it or I have to pick it up we have a small car and can’t afford to have a delivery truck to pick it upNothing to sit onAre they going to pay for a rental couch until get couch back it’s not my fault, poor quality furniture! Others see it what’s happening with couch and they don’t want too! Sorry they couldn’t read my writingI typed to tell *** to tell all I’m writing in the letter! But all I told them why I should pay for a couch on everyday use look terrible and sagging after weeks sitting! Cheap padding and materialChairs if in good shape then why can’t they sell chairs and never sit on? We don’t have the money to buy another couchWhy should we after weeks sagging and not good quality getting worse*** *** ***

I was on the phone with my wife when she went in to Moghelis and asked for a copy of everything that I had signed that dayThey told her there was nothing signed there because it was all done electronicallyThe owner of the store was rude and yelling at her to get outWe bought a bed from them and paid all at once and the slabs broke they ordered us new o es and had an employee come out and fix the bedAgain it broke so my wife asked for them to do something about it we paid $for that bed set they told us to take the bed apart and bring it to them and they would get to it when they could my bed is still not fixed because my wife doesnt have the tools to take it apart and that was brought up when my wife was there asking about the papers he told her to write our contact info and as she was trying to write it the owner was screaming at her to get out now she kept telling him she was trying to finish writing he said if she doesnt here from him by wedOct or thurs Octthen she is responsible for getting into contact with him he was telling her he doesnt know how she lives with herself he is very rude and disrespectful and unprofessional she told him she was going to get an attorney and come backThey were suppose to give us the yellow paper when they dropped off the furniture bt never did ive been meaning to stop by and ask for it but its hard when I work out of town and as far as the contract goes I had never seen it or discussed it until my wife had the finance company email us a copy I never even knew how much my payments were goin to be

This note is response to ID# ***Mrs*** came to Moghelis Furniture on 9/28/using profanity while speaking with one of the workerShe was asked if she has the receipt so we could verify the date of purchase and which transaction she was referring toShe said it was under her
husband's name and that he was not given a copyAll customers making a purchase at the store are given a yellow receipt and it was given to him on the day he made the purchase, before the delivery.The financing program with *** *** *** is a no credit required program for customers with challenged creditThe customers are required to have a checking or savings account which allows ACH debit authorization and an incomeBanking information is asked during the online application process and it is thoroughly explained why we are asking for this informationThe payment is deducted from their checking or savings account every time the customer receives a pay check from their source of incomeOnce the application process is complete and the customer has been invoiced, the contract including the online application is printed and given to the customer to sign and they are also asked for a copy of their state issued IDThe signed documents including the store receipt are then given to the customerIt is now the customer's responsibility to keep the signed documents in a safe place.When we first started offering the no credit required financing with *** *** ***, the signing of the documents were done manually and then months later they improvised and started doing the electronic signingWithout the customers receipt and the exact date of the purchase the store worker did not know whether the transaction was done before or after the method of signing was changedWe searched our files and found the signed documents and were able to verify that it was not an electronic signature but was rather a manual signatureThe signatures were done in blue ink and they clearly matched his driver's licenseThe terms and conditions are also clearly stated on the contractI will also be faxing your office a copy of the contract with the store receipt and his ID.Please feel free to contact us at *** *** *** during our business hours of AM to PM if there is anything else we can do to help with this matter
