In regards to the denial of warranty to [redacted] performanceWhen shop originally contacted me about months prior to the transmission coming back to shop for warranty work they were having trouble codes for a tcc issueThey originally asked Paradise Transmissions if the electrical was covered under warrantyParadise Transmissions informed them that warranty only cover parts replaced per repair orderIf Paradise Transmission had replaced those parts then yes there was a warranty coverage on failed partsAfter review of invoice the transmission electrical components had not been replaced so there was no coverage on those componentsParadise Transmissions offered [redacted] Performance to bring vehicle to repair shop to see if it was an electrical issue or a mechanical issueThey at that point in time decided to replace tcc and overdrive solenoid because they had some other repairs to do on vehicleThis solenoid set comes with a new internal wiring harnessStandard procedure when replacing these solenoids is to due a valvebody removal and replace both solenoids and wiring harnessAfter a couple of months Paradise Transmission gets a phone call from [redacted] Performance stating that transmission is slippingParadise transmission informs [redacted] Performance to bring transmission up so we can do a teardown and inspect to determine cause of failureTransmission shows up around 3:at shop to have inspection performedParadise Transmission says that we will get transmission on teardown bench in the next couple of days to perform inspection for cause of failureThe very next morning [redacted] Performance before 9:am [redacted] Performance calls to see what diagnosis isInform them that there is a couple transmission that are in need of inspection that were there before them and that they will receive a phone call as soon as transmission has been inspectedSame day at 4:Paradise Transmission receives a phone call again inquiring on status of transmissionInform them that transmission will be getting toredown first thing in morningNext morning arrives and before 8:am get another phone call from [redacted] Performance inquiring on statusInform them that shop has just opened and transmission will be toredown within the hourUpon initial removal of transmission pan first thing that is seen is that the solenoids that were replaced that they wires had been cut and butt connectedAgain proper procedure would have been to replace the internal wiring harness that they claim is the source of water contaminationIn the years of repairing transmission Paradise Transmissions has never seen or heard of water entering in thru the sealed case connectorAs teardown was being performed started seeing signs of water contamination even though the was fresh fluids in transmissionThe transmission filter which is a Dacron (fiber) style material showed signs of water being pulled thru it e.grust on the metal body and the material had also started breaking down and sucking itself flatWhen pump was disassembled which I will attach pictures of there was rust contamination and also water and transmission fluid coagulated together in pockets of pumpAgain there was fresh fluid in transmission which indicated that transmission fluid had been flushed out prior to transmission being removed and brought to Paradise Transmissions for warranty repairsThe reason for bringing up the fresh fluid in transmission is that someone had tried removing water contaminated fluid to hide the water contaminationParadise Transmission called [redacted] Performance to inquire about the possibility of water getting in transmission due to either a failed radiator or vehicle getting submersed in water [redacted] Performance at that point denied any of those chances and stated that we had informed them to change radiator when the transmission was rebuilt , at no point in time had Paradise Transmissions informed them to replace radiatorWe never had vehicle at our repair facility so there would be no way for us to recommend to replace a faulty radiatorParadise Transmission informed [redacted] Performance that warranty doesn't cover a water damaged transmission [redacted] Performance then requested the warranty to be upheld due to the fact that it was one of their really good customers and that they want to stay in good standing with customerParadise Transmission again stated that the transmission was done as a bench job and that there had been steps taken to cover up the water contamination and that water damaged transmissions are not covered under warranty as to either a radiator had failed or vehicle had been submerged [redacted] Performance then stated that they were done doing business with us and that they would be taking their business elsewhereweeks later dean [redacted] from [redacted] Performance called to say that they pressure tested transmission and found that the case connector and dipstick were leaking water into transmissionBeing in the transmission industry it is known that there is no way to pressure test a transmissionIt would be impossible to plug all the vents and sealed areasThe vent is in the pump body which is located in front of torque converter which would make it impossible to plug and seal both front pump and transmission ventIn many ways thru this ordeal with warranty on transmission [redacted] Performance has shown themselves to not be forth coming with all information regarding reason for water contaminationParadise Transmission regretted to inform them that there is no warranty on a transmission failure due to installer errors , failed external components (radiator, computers or blown cooling lines as examples)If the failure would have been due to a part or work performed by Paradise Transmissions then we would've gladly honored the warrantyIf their stance is that water was coming in thru the electrical connector then that also falls back onto them due to the fact that they didn't change out the internal wiring that is part of the tcc and overdrive solenoidThey instead of replacing wiring harness they did a crimp butt connector instead of replacing complete wiring and solenoid assemblyDue to all these points Paradise Transmission cannot extend warranty or a reimbursement of money for the prior overhaulIf there is any further questions please contact me at [redacted] or respond by emailParadise Transmissions will be closed Friday 3/18/and also Monday 3/21/any point in time before or after those dates we will be available for contact purposes

In regards to the denial of warranty to [redacted] performance. When shop originally contacted me about 8 months prior to the transmission coming back to shop for warranty work they were having trouble codes for a tcc issue. under warranty. Paradise Transmissions informed them that warranty only cover parts replaced per repair order. If Paradise Transmission had replaced those parts then yes there was a warranty coverage on failed parts. After review of invoice the transmission electrical components had not been replaced so there was no coverage on those components. Paradise Transmissions offered [redacted] Performance to bring vehicle to repair shop to see if it was an electrical issue or a mechanical issue. They at that point in time decided to replace tcc and overdrive solenoid because they had some other repairs to do on vehicle. This solenoid set comes with a new internal wiring harness. Standard procedure when replacing these solenoids is to due a valvebody removal and replace both solenoids and wiring harness. After a couple of months Paradise Transmission gets a phone call from [redacted] Performance stating that transmission is slipping. Paradise transmission informs [redacted] Performance to bring transmission up so we can do a teardown and inspect to determine cause of failure. Transmission shows up around 3:30 at shop to have inspection performed. Paradise Transmission says that we will get transmission on teardown bench in the next couple of days to perform inspection for cause of failure. The very next morning [redacted] Performance before 9:00 am [redacted] Performance calls to see what diagnosis is. Inform them that there is a couple transmission that are in need of inspection that were there before them and that they will receive a phone call as soon as transmission has been inspected. Same day at 4:00 Paradise Transmission receives a phone call again inquiring on status of transmission. Inform them that transmission will be getting toredown first thing in morning. Next morning arrives and before 8:30 am get another phone call from [redacted] Performance inquiring on status. Inform them that shop has just opened and transmission will be toredown within the hour. Upon initial removal of transmission pan first thing that is seen is that the solenoids that were replaced that they wires had been cut and butt connected. Again proper procedure would have been to replace the internal wiring harness that they claim is the source of water contamination. In the 24 years of repairing transmission Paradise Transmissions has never seen or heard of water entering in thru the sealed case connector. As teardown was being performed started seeing signs of water contamination even though the was fresh fluids in transmission. The transmission filter which is a Dacron (fiber) style material showed signs of water being pulled thru it e.g. rust on the metal body and the material had also started breaking down and sucking itself flat. Being in the transmission industry it is known that there is no way to pressure test a transmission. It would be impossible to plug all the vents and sealed areas.
