Mohave County Paralegal Reviews (2)

Beware of this business I wish I had checked the Revdex.com before doing business with Elizabeth (Jo) Moore I gave her $for services that were never completed I took her to small claims court and got a judgment for $ When she didn't show up for a supplemental hearing I instituted a civil arrest warrant If she lays low she can circumvent the law and continue to steal from other people with impunity It doesn't seems to bother her a bit and why should it if she can get away with it? She's a paralegal who brings disgrace onto the judicial system

My husband hired Mohave County Paralegal ([redacted] “**” [redacted], AZCLDP #[redacted]) to prepare our simple, uncontested divorce paperwork Sept 2012. First, they served my roommate with the papers and after receiving the return receipt w/o my signature/name on it, they didn't even question it. I had to bring it to their attention and request that the service be re-done. Then, when the required 2 month waiting period had elapsed and I had heard nothing, I contacted them and found out they hadn't even begun to prepare the final paperwork. My husband went to their office and signed what they finally put together. When I received the final decree with the judge's stamp on it and began looking the papers over, I found that the majority of agreed upon points ad been left out.

This paralegal rarely returned phone calls or emails. After leaving several messages, I called. Their phone had been disconnected. I contacted my husband who went over to their office. The doors were locked. Several weeks later Ms. [redacted] contacted us. I questioned the missing points on the decree and was told that an entire page from the Petition had been left out and an Amended Decree would have to be filed with the court. It became a very convoluted mess (with misspelled words, grammatical errors and terms added to the document which we had never authorized). By the time we got everything squared away in June 2013 it was several hundred dollars more than originally quoted price. Plus, what should have taken a little over 60 days, ended up taking over 9 months due to their lack of timely response and repeated errors.
