Mohu Leaf50 - Poor Product - Mohu Refuses To Honor WarrantyI have already lost $75 on this product and I am not about to waste another minute dealing with this unscrupulous company. Their product is defective, not my fault, so why should I pay for shipping or another antenna? Most reputable companies cover shipping and send pre-paid return labels when their products go "[redacted]. I guess that tells us what kind of company we are dealing with at Mohu. Their warranty is a joke and, well, I am not exactly laughing about their product.Excuse me while I go buy a real antenna from a reputable company ... and it WILL NOT be [redacted] Gives Mohu, The Mohu Leaf50, and [redacted] 1 Bomb Out Of 10 And A Spot On My 'WALL OF SHAME" ... More Bombs Are Better!Desired SettlementI want my money backBusiness Response Customer originally reached out to us on 1/11/2016 at 8:59pm via email. He purchased an antenna at [redacted] in August of 2015. The antenna worked ok for a couple months and it started to fail. He attempted to take the antenna back to [redacted] and stated in his email that "they would not honor Mohu's 1-year warranty, telling me "it's outside our [redacted] 15-day return policy". This is correct on [redacted] part. They do not handle any antenna replacements that fall within our 1 year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Customer then sent the email to us asking that we credit him back for the cost of the antenna. Our agent replied to the customer on 1/12/2016 at 8:01am, let the customer know that we could not refund the purchase since it was bought at [redacted] and that it sounded like the amplifier was defective and we could replace that part for him. She included instructions on doing the amplifier test, asked for a proof of purchase for the replacement amplifier so we could process a replacement. The customer did the amplifier test per an email that we received on 1/18/16 at 12:05am and he stated that without the amplifier his reception only got worse and he included a video of the problem. He stated that "If we cannot fix this quickly, I'll take the $70 loss and publish my review for Moho and [redacted] based on my experience." 1/18/2015 at 8:41am we replied back with a channel scan using his address to let him know that using the antenna at ground level was not going to yield good results and that he should try the antenna on a second floor to improve his reception or he could try a roof mounted antenna. He emailed on 1/21/16 at 3:05pm and stated that "It has been 10 days and the response I was promised "within 24 hours" never came. I then sent my address as requested and would like to troubleshoot the antenna as was offered, but nobody has contacted me." On 1/21/16 at 4:25pm our agent replied with an apology that the email from 1/18 was not received and she sent the information from the 1/18 email. The customer, on 1/21/16 @8:25pm, sent a screen shot of our site showing the channel scan information where it showed that with the antenna he purchased he should get 25 channels and claimed false advertising. What he did not note is that there is a disclaimer at the bottom of the site that states that "The results of available channels in your area is an estimate based on your location and the location of the TV transmitters in your area and is not guaranteed. Every location is unique in terms of local terrain, foliage, and installation details which will affect your reception." He also added in the same email that he was going to "report you to the [redacted] as well as the [redacted] Office. I will eat the $75 I wasted on your product, take it with me to the firing range, and use it for target practice with my 9mm Beretta, posting the video on my popular YouTube channel with a link to my review of Mohu on my popular blog". This is where communication ended.Based on the customer stating that his antenna was working initially and then started to fade/fail we diagnosed that it was the amplifier and were more than happy to replace that part for the customer per our warranty policy. Had the amplifier replacement not improved matters the next step would have been to replace the antenna completely to see if that resolved the issue. We were not given that opportunity. Refunding the customer was never an option since we were not the point of purchase for the item and we have no access to financial information from retailers that sell our product. We were totally willing to provide the replacement amplifier or antenna, if necessary, per our processes.Consumer Response Unsatisfactory response. They never offered to replace the antenna and their website states that the "customer" must pay shipping and handling. After paying $70+ for their faulty product, I am not spending another penny only to get another piece of junk from Hulu. I still intend to file complaints with the [redacted] and [redacted] because a record of their substandard products and business practices need to be documented in order to save others the similar financial and time losses I have suffered at their hands.Thank youFinal Business Response We never got to the step where we would have offered a replacement antenna since we never got past the first step which was to test the amplifier first. We offered an amplifier replacement on the first contact with the customer (1/12). I sincerely apologize that we are not able to offer a refund since we were not the original point of purchase for the antenna in question. We were attempting to work through the process to get his antenna working prior to the escalation to the complaint.

Purchased Mohu Leaf, spring 2013, product supposed to have quality guarantee, product is splitting in half, into 2 pieces. Product has not been misused or abused in any way. Have contacted, or tried to contact, the company twice via internet, no response. [redacted]Consumer Response /[redacted]/The company has positively responded to my concerns, however, the "proof is in the pudding", meaning that until I receive the replacement antenna I cannot report that this case has had a positive ending. I have not been told when/if a replacement antenna will be shipped/received. Until that happens my complaint stands.Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/Aug 23, 2014 update. Mohu Leaf has honorably and quickly resolved my issues with their product. A replacement was forthcoming and is working fine. I can fully endorse this company. Thank you. [redacted]

Mohu prevents users from emailing a complaint. At least on an iOS platform, their email address is blocked Mohu makes it impossible for iPad users and users of iOS op. Systems to view their email address. Second, they are distributing remanufactured ULTIMATE ANTENNAS without proper marketing labels showing product to be remanufactured. I re dived one from Amazon when a Leaf 50 was ordered at new price. Vendor was asked to replace dried out mounting pads. Not received.
