Mojo Mechanical Heating and Cooling

Beware, very crooked operation.
I own and hands on operate many rental homes in Tucson since 1976.
I have repaired many furnaces over the years exactly like the one Mojo was called into by the tenant.
Tech called and said motor was dead. Tech could not answer my questions about his diagnosis. I became suspicious. He insisted the motor was bad and would cost over $400. I had been buying these motors for less than $80. Since the tenant was wanting the furnace on I authorized the repair. But I stipulated that I wanted the supposed dead parts.
Once I had the parts I found the motor had not been removed from its mount.
It took me 30 seconds to remove the motor to find a hair and dust ball binding the motor shaft. Another couple minutes to clean it and it was working fine. I took the motor to be tested at Hemco Motors and repair shop. They gave me a lettere stating it was fine. I am a veteran industrial field service representative for GE Electrical & motors and WW Grainger HVAC & motors. I further tested the motor in another similar furnace fan. Static pressure was progressively applied until the fan drew it's rated amps. I ran it under this load for over an hour with no overheating of the motor and no looseness of the bearings.
This was all video documented.
The Mojo owner was nothing but disrespectful and unwilling to discuss the situation.
The registrar of contractors was useless. They never even looked at the old motor evidence.
