My home and carport were reroofed by Purcell Roofing 1/years ago and I trusted the quality of the materials and workmanship that they advertised on their website My carport is now leaking and sagging on the end and the material they replaced my 2"plywood roofing with is black and rotting, and so is the facing end beams that support the roof and gutters I talked to Steve who said it "sounded" like wind damage and he would come out and take a look at it Days later I called him again because I hadn't heard from him, and he said he already came He never called, rang the doorbell, or let me know he was even thereI asked him why not and he said he didn't really think about it even though he saw the car in the driveway What kind of customer service is that? At the very least I would think he would want to point out where the failure was or originated from to me I would definitely want to know what would be involved in the repairs In that same call he said he would send someone else out to take a look, but I never saw that man either Still maintaining wind damage causing the failure, he said he couldn't honor any part of my year warranteeAfter asking for it, I did get a new estimate good for 72hrsand a year warranteeReallyShouldn't a new roof with new decking last more than years regardless of weathershort of tornado activity maybe? How about the particle board type material that was used as the plywood replacement that obviously didn't hold up under moisture? And what about the quality of workmanship that didn't hold up for that length of time? I've lived here for over thirty years and that carport has never had anything happen like this beforeWe've had much more rain than winds, I knowI am an elderly single woman and I'm very disappointed in the advertised integrity, honesty, and warrantee coverage of this company
