*** *** brought her car to AAMCO Transmissions 2/21/stating she thought she needed a power steering pumpAn ASE Master Technician was assigned to diagnose her concernAccording to the diagnostic report the pump was functioning properly, but air was getting into the systemHe found an o ring
that was allowing air into the system She returned a couple of days later and the noise had come backThe Technician found more o rings that could be leaking air into the systemThose o rings were replaced at no charge We are not in the practice of selling parts unless we confirm they are faultyI know other shops would have probably sold her a pump and possible rack and pinionThat would have cost her hundreds of dollars Our work is warranted and we would love the opportunity repair her car

Tell us why hereI spoke with *** *** 8/24/I was able to go up the ladder at Tempoe and get this resolvedThey were able to get it down to $

Good afternoon, In response to Mrs***'s complaint please allow me to
explain the following: Our trucks pick up vehicles from the tires not the
bumper or any other part of the vehicle*** *** visitor spaces
are clearly marked "Visitor" either on the ground or in the
carport
next to the number, I have submitted a picture that shows the vehicle was not
in a space designated for a visiting vehicle (Picture #2)In regards to the damage claim we did ask Mrs*** to take
her vehicle to our shop: *** *** *** to have them look at both the
physical as well as the mechanical damage being claimedOnce Miss ***
arrived our Tech did ask the Tech from Tuning Solutions to come take a look at
this vehicle as a second opinionBoth Techs reported that the vehicle had a
lot of physical damage which they did not believe was done by the tow truckFurthermore,
both Techs reported that all rims had several dings around the edges, in
their professional opinion those were caused by the vehicle brushing up against
cubsOur tech was not able to diagnose the problem with the mechanical claim
of the vehicleThey were however asked to take their vehicle to *** *** to have it looked at there, they were referred to speak to Daniel when
they arrivedAs of today Daniel has not reported to us that Mrs*** took
her vehicle to be diagnosed.Picture # shows the condition of the front of the vehicle
after the tow truck dropped it off at the vehicle storage facilityAs you can
see on the picture there is no miss alignment on the bumperThe vehicle storage
facility also does a survey of damage on the vehicle when they check the
vehicle in and they did not find any damage that could have been caused by our
trucksMr*** was on the phone giving our tow trucks license
plate number to an unknown person, and for an unknown reasonMrDan asked
Mrs*** not to bother the pregnant secretary inside the office and Mrs
*** went inside the office and harassed our pregnant secretary trying to
force her to give her last name, after this last incident MrDan did in fact
escort Mrand Mrs*** out of the buildingAll of this was captured by our
security camerasSince Mrs*** is seeking “Compensation” for a proper
diagnostic of her vehicle she may already have had the vehicle diagnosed by a
mechanic shop of her choosing in which case we would be interested in reviewing
the report stating the cause of the dash lights being on in the vehicle in
order to determine if this was caused by our trucksIn regards to the request
for reimbursement the claimant must file for a tow hearing with the JP courtThe
receipt from the vehicle storage facility will have specific instructions on
how to file for this hearingIf further proof is requested all parties
involved are willing to provide H Town Towing with written statements of the
events in their own wordsKind Regards

The service agreement with this community is that we do not tow from the property unless the office staff calls us to remove a vehicle from the officeIn this case we received a call to remove this vehicle by the office staff, we did not take it upon ourselves to decide we were towing this
vehicleWe stored the vehicle in a state approved vehicle storage facility (storage facilities do not belong to us and we are not affiliated), this is the closest state approved facility that we work with to store vehiclesFor these reasons we will not be able to refund any money for the tow ($407.00) or the cab ride ($100.00) totaling $507.00, according to Miss ***If the vehicle owner believes their vehicle should not have been towed, they have the right to file for a tow hearing with the Justice of the Peace Court and they can present their case to the Judge, the Judge will decide if we should have or should not have towed the vehicleWe can also go back and listen to our recorded calls to address if in fact our phone operator was disrespectful in any way, in order to do so we will need Miss Neal to provide us the phone number she called in from, the date and the approximate timeOnce we can listen to the conversation we can address this further and coach our operators if needed Miss *** is also claiming we caused damage to her vehicle totaling in $We spoke to the storage facility management for the following reasons: This storage facility performs a visual inventory of each vehicle that is checked into their lot, they note damages and condition as they see it They have cameras on their lot, and They keep very good notes of complaints made by people retrieving their vehiclesThe storage lot has no record of the vehicle having an open door where water could have gotten into the vehicleThe gentleman who retrieved the vehicle had help from the storage lot attendant because their battery was dead, and did not indicate to the storage lot attendant anything being wrong with their vehicleAs soon as the vehicle was running the gentleman got in the driver seat and drove straight out.No one communicated with the front desk at the storage facility at the time they retrieved their vehicle from storage to let them know anything at all was wrong with the vehicle or that water had gotten into the vehicleNo one contacted our office to submit a damage complaint in regards to anything being wrong with the vehicle (water damage or mechanical failures)We should have received a complaint and given the opportunity to verify any damage on the vehicle, been provided pictures of any and all damage and/ or lights on the dashboard that needed to be addressed as well as estimates for the repairs that should have been provided prior to any work being completedAt this point Miss *** is expecting us to take her word that damage was caused to the vehicle by being towed and by being left with a door open however she did not enter the lot to inspect the vehicle herself, it was MrDwight *** who retrieved the vehicle from storage, he signed for the vehicle and made no attempt to submit a complaint at the time he retrieved the vehicle from the storage facilityAlso no evidence was submitted in order to make an attempt at proving that any damage was in fact on the vehicleAt this point is it unclear if the vehicle has been serviced since Miss *** is claiming $in damages however an estimate and (if it has already been serviced) a receipt were not submittedDue to the information we have collected and because we were not allowed to inspect the vehicle through a professional to verify any damage nor did we receive any pictures that should have been submitted to us we are unable to accept liability for this claim totaling $We hope we have addressed this complaint thoroughly, thank youTell us why here
