we at midas take pride in our work and we have a very detailed way on the way we do our oil changeswhen the truck was done and it left it had no leaks and had the proper oil level of oilwhen customer returned to the shop she drove it in and there was no sign of any leaks or
signs that oil was not at proper level we showed her husband the very detailed way on how we perform our oil changes customer drove truck when she came in and when she left a truck with no oil would not be drivable no signs of low oil or no signs of engine light on

I am rejecting this response because:This is completely untrueI did not damage the car myselfIf the co-owner was in the bay next to my vehicle I'm sure he was (hope he was) paying attention to the car he was working on at the timeI highly doubt he had the time to notice the damage done to my car seems how this business has been so busy I have had to make an appointment a week and a half outThe owner most certainly was yelling and when my wife told him he was being unprofessional he just continuedThere is no way my car came into the shop like this this and it's not even the running boards that are damaged - it's the car doorIt squeaks now when it opens, I think I would have noticed that before the car went I- had I done it myselfThere is many ways that the car could have been damaged if not by the "lift", and I dont feel that I have to sit and watch my car being worked on for the entirety for the job when I take it to a supposedly "reputable business" - even if it was in my sightI refuse to have to pay a single dime for the damages done to my car by this shop, this is not indeed "how the world works "The shop needs to take responsibility for their actions and schedule repairs at their expense.
Sincerely,

my mechanic again when asked if he damaged the door said NO he did not he also said he is more than willing to talk to the customer in person and tell them again he did not damage the door and show them his procedure on pulling cars into the shop and out of the shop and lifting the cars on and off the bay racks

customer was told to bring car back so we can look at it  cant fix the car over the phone or thru Revdex.com complaints  we have gone above and beyond to help [redacted] by giving her parts for free and also discounting the labor please stop sending me emails about this

the customer left the shop then returned about 5 minutes later and stated he had damage on his lower driver door I had him pull his car into the shop and called over the mechanic who worked on his car and asked my mechanic in front of him if he accidentally banged the door he said no. I explained to...

the customer he has to  make a insurance claim and let our insurance companies handle it. We have very strict procedures at my shop that PREVENT these type of accidents from happening and I am more then welcome to have both customers come back to the shop and show them how we lift cars, it is not possible for the lift to make contact with the door and not the running board. the lift point of the car is behind the front tire not the middle of the door. The mechanic never test drove the car and the car was never out of the sight of the customer. To add a few more notes the customer did say he was extremely exhausted and only had 3 hours of sleep is it possible he accidentally banged his own door and didn't notice because he was too exhausted. Also we did tell the customer they needed tires and brakes and customer did not seem concerned at all about that. When the tech was doing the oil change the 2nd owner of the shop who is also a mechanic was working on the bay next to him and also verified there was no damage done to the door while we had it. As far as yelling and calling the customer honey, I was talking loud because I was in the shop area when I was on the phone huge difference from talking loud and yelling at someone. I also did not use the word honey I would not disrespect someone and use the word honey to address them. We do not have cameras in the shop so we do not have any surveillance footage.

Will not refund half the money back. [redacted] was invited back for us to fix her problem and she has not come back in midas went above and beyond to try to help her
