I can't say my experience with Clera Windsors and Doors has been a satisfying oneSeem to be more talk than actionSigned a contract October for an install date of Feb Didn't happen till April/May Right away there was a problem with the weather seal on the patio door, loose handle, and a small latch missingPaid my bill in full and in hind sight, I should have held back 20% or 25% till I was sure problems correctedThey don't know why the weather seal keeps popping out of the track so they said they will now replace the door (July 2015)They are calling it a warranty defectMaybe just another way of saying they don't have any local experts or knowledgeable technicians in this areaIt is now Sept and my patio Door is in TorontoI can get the door if I pay for the delivery cost otherwise I have to wait till someone in Windsor orders window s and doorsMight get the door in October but they can not commitSo October, let me think back, that will make it months since I started this journey with Clera and I am still waiting for my door to be installed
Finally got the door installer to re-install my patio door September 29th, 2015, one problem though, the weatherstrip that insured an airtight fit was missingInstaller said the design of this door is badHe called it a defect or poor designSaid I did not really need the weatherstripThe one on the other edge would provide a good enough sealHe has done all he can to install this door, can't do anything more
Never got a follow up call or visit to see if everything was okSo I called the saleman on Oct 2nd Seem surprised that the weatherstrip was missingSaid this is the first he had heardSaid he would have to talk to installer who was on vacation and that I would hear backDid not get a call so I called the salesman on Oct 23rd left a message to call meNext day he calls, said someone from Royal will contact me It is now Nov 3rd, I guess the guy from Royal is too busy to call me because I have not heard from anyone
So I have a less than perfect door with an airtightness rating that is less than advertised that I had installed twiceCouldn't get it right either time*** ***

Clera windows and doors by FM installed windows for us and the service and installation were excellent They also installed windows and French sliding doors for us in which we never had any problems withI would recommend this company to everybody

I paid 5k for two windows to be installed in my house April 2016. They cracked the wall in the living room which I had to repair and repaint, and they made such a mess of the wood trim that it needs replacing. In August, I discovered one windows' seal was broken and called the company to have it replaced. After several conversations with them, and promised dates for the replacement, to date, they have not replaced the window. Now, they won't answer the phone or return my phone messages.
