Review: I had hired Molly Maid to clean my house. On several occasions, I had called since work I had requested was not done. I spoke to [redacted] from Molly Maid's who asked that I give them one more chance, reduced my normally cleaning cost and promised that she would be there to make sure my furniture would be vacuumed. None of that happened and they will not return the $80.Desired Settlement: Return the $80 for the last cleaning plus they should not have charged me the $120+ for the two prior cleanings since the house was not properly cleaned as promised on the agreement that they originally provided. The person at Molly Maid did not return several of my calls and it took her over a week just to email me authorization to return the keys to me. Very bad service.

The work that Ms. [redacted] is referring to is a couch that was not vacuumed. According to our files Ms. [redacted] called on January 10 to say that her couch had not been vacuumed and asked for a $40 discount which was given to her. In fact $40 off of a total bill of $128 is a 31% discount. A rather generous discount given that the only complaint was that a couch had not been vacuumed. What was not mentioned in Ms. [redacted]’s complaint is that the reason the couch was not vacuumed was because her cats were under a blanket on the couch and they did not move when the maids lifted the blanket, the maids did not feel comfortable moving the cats off of the couch. As per our policy we offered to send the team back to re-vacuum the couch (in addition to the $40 discount) but she declined. As for the claim that it took over a week “just to email me an authorization to return the keys to me”. We informed her that she just needed to send us an email authorizing us to mail back her key. The key has since been returned.
