Molnau Trucking LLC is a Heavy Highway Trucking Contractor and generally do not sell to the public, however when asked we will sell rock by the Load, we do not sell by the ton or yardOne Load= approxto ton of product loaded with payloaders with a 3yrd bucketit takes approxbuckets to equal one load [redacted] Molnau delivered the load to the address he had his chains hooked on the tailgate because they were spreading gravel on the local township roads that day, so instead of a large pile he had to somewhat spread it out in the drivewayso it may not have looked like as much gravelNo one answered at the home when time of delivery so a invoice was sent.Product was ordered by the father of [redacted] ***, who also received loads of the same material and paid for the loads COD and had no issues at allPrice was told to ***'s father before the loads were delivered and he had no issue with the costAs for the brake down of cost and bucket loads stated by [redacted] and or her husbandher figures all depends on different factors like, what size the bobcat is and what size bucket he was using, how full as the bucket when he scooped out of the pileas for the cost of the rock itself all depends on what gravel pit you get your rock from prices are different.we did receive a check for $with an explanation for the amount, that I still have not cashed, a second invoice was sent and then a 3rda lien will be placed on the property for the total Load amount of $

As I stated Molnau Trucking LLC DOES NOT sell to the public as a business practiceWe are Construction/Heavy Highway ContractorsI'm sorry if I said ***'s Father and it was Her father- in law (not the point of this matter), we have gravel piles located at our shop for our own use and if someone calls for a load on a weekend or after "pit hours" we do not have weight slipsI'm sorry the way you were spoken to on the phone, I was not at the shop at the time of the conversationWe have delivered many load of gravel over the last years we have been in business to others the same way we have done for you and you are the only one who has had an issue with it. If the money is a problem then I will not expect to get paid the amount due and donate the load of gravel to you

[redacted] had called the Molnau Trucking LLC shop and said he was following one of our drivers and a rock hit his windshield and he wanted it fixed. I, [redacted] Molnau, VP, told him that I needed his insurance information so I can turn in a...

claim. he stated he did not have glass coverage so he just wanted my to pay for it. I told him I could not do that with out insurance information and he then hung up the phone. our driver was leaving the job site empty at the time of the incident

I was told by the person that I called that I should turn the claim in to my insurance company and that they were not responsible. The statement that I hung up the phone is a lie, why would I end the call??? I contacted my insurance agent and was advised to file a claim with their insurance company since the driver admitted his truck peppered my vehicle with debris and I had a damage report from the Minnesota Highway Patrol.
I contacted [redacted] and requested his insurance company contact me. After several days and no contact from their insurance company, I called again and was told by Nick that he would not pursue this any further and I should do whatever I need to do.
I contacted Molnau Trucking's insurance company and filed a claim.
Since I have a statement from the driver that it was his fault and a damage report from the Patrol I would think a company would take responsibility and pay damages caused by their company
I have an estimate for $271.00 to replace the windshield.

the claim was turned over to our insurance and Molnau Trucking was found to be not at fault do to MN no fault and the statements received by the complainant. see attached letter sent to him by our insurance
