still have 7/15/17 available. Thank you. How'd You Hear About Me?: Bridal Show(Sent via Kristin Reuter Photography LLC)  I received the above email from the customer in question on July 18th.  After this we discussed current pricing, the promotion that was running from July 17th to August 17th, and set up a time to meet in person.  The Customer was informed not only on the coupon itself for the promotion, but at our in person meeting as well of the terms of the promotion.  On an email sent on July 25th it was decided to meet August 9th, 2016.  Prior to this it was discussed that the retainer fee to hold her wedding date was the sum of $700.00.  When we met in person we discussed all of the Customer’s questions, I went over my policies, as well as my contract.  Both the Customer in question and her fiance were informed several times during this meeting that to officially book their date with me I needed the contract signed by both of them as well as their retainer fee.  I also reaffirmed the deadline for the promotion I was running, informing them: in order to be eligible they needed their signed contract and the retainer fee to be in BEFORE the August 17th deadline.   After going over the contract with the Customer and her fiance the Customer wanted to sign the contract and make the retainer fee payment.  The Customer’s fiance stated he wanted to take the contract home to read over before signing.  I said that was fine and that they could just mail the contract back to me after they’ve had time to look it over.  I told her to let me know when they were ready to send the contract back and I would get them my mailing address.  The Customer insisted they were going to send the contract back right away and gave me their retainer fee payment.  I said that was fine and I reaffirmed that I cannot book their date until I get BOTH the contract and the the retainer fee.  After our meeting the Customer was in regular contact regarding booking their engagement session.  I had no reason to believe they were not going to send back the contract.  I deposited her check.  On August 15th I had still not received their contract so I sent an email with the mailing address (my website contains the physical address that one would type into their GPS, it does not receive mail, only the mailing address does) since the Customer had yet to inform me they were ready to sign and send the contract.  After that I had not heard from the Customer.  I sent her another email on October 14th informing her I STILL had not received her contract.  Giving the Customer the benefit of the doubt I offered to send her the contract digitally so she would not have to mail it.  On the same day she sent me an email stating she forgot to send it and agreed digitally would work better.   Two days later on October 16th, after looking at the contract, she asked if she would still be receiving the promotion, which ended August 17th.  I reminded her again that in order to receive that promotion I needed to have both her retainer fee and contract in.  In an email sent on October 18th from the Customer she changed her story stating she had sent the contract “VIA MAIL THAT WEEK!” She then threatened that if she did not receive the promotion she would not like to move forward with me as her photographer.  I let her know I would look again, giving her the benefit of the doubt again, to see if maybe her contract had gotten mixed in with another or something.  I did not ever remember seeing it, but I looked through all my files anyway and did not find her contract.  In an email also sent on the 18th of October the Customer stated that if she did not receive the promotion she would like her money back since her fiance STILL has NOT signed the contract.  On October 20th I emailed the Customer letting her know that I certainly would not be shooting her wedding on July 15th, 2017 and that I would be returning her deposit after the completion of a cancellation agreement since she had signed the original contract digitally.  The Customer stated she could not make the drive to Green Bay to sign the cancellation agreement and pick up her payment return.  I agreed to send her the form digitally and for her to send it back to me via email.  She was sent the contract cancellation on October 21st.  I received the signed contract cancellation back from the Customer on October 24th while I was out of the office on family vacation.  In the cancellation agreement, which the Customer signed, it states I have 30 days to return her payment once we have both signed.  Even had I been in the office that week, I would still have, per the agreement SHE signed, I would still have until November 24th to return the payment.  On November 1st the Customer started posting false accusations on my social media accounts.  She then had her friends start posting false accusations on my social media accounts. November 8th I received an email stating she would be posting more on my various social media accounts as well as recruiting her friends to do the same.  Unfortunately at this point I had to get my lawyer involved to send the Customer a cease and desist letter.  My Lawyer recommended I wait to send the deposit back until the Customer had received the cease and desist letter as well as she remove all the false allegations from my social media accounts, which was stated in the cease and desist letter.  On November 15th I received a phone call from a local company that I advertise through their events stating that the Customer called them and told the company more false allegations.    I was again in contact with my lawyer.  He sent the letter to the Customer, I received my copy on November 19th, I am assuming she received her’s on the same day.  Also on the same day I received your letter (Revdex.com).  It is now November 21st, and I still have not heard from the Customer. Once I hear from the Customer and see that she has removed all false allegations I will sign the cancellation of contract agreement and return her deposit.  I can provide copies of all emails should that be necessary as well as any copies of agreements.
